This is about King Arthur and his sister Mordred &their son. She basically raised him to hate his father to have him take Vengeance on him but dies in battle. King Arthur is married but slept with his sister and got her pregnant and she hated him so she came up with the plan to raise her son to hate his father. It's really quite a sad story really.
I believe Morgana tricked him somehow in sleeping with her. She was a sorceress and made him think she was his actual wife through an illusion or something like that.
A friend of mine showed this to me back in highschool. And recently years later this song came back and has on been on my mind... My friend also just recently passed away and now finally i was able to remember the name of this song and listen to it once again

i absolutely love nightcore and think that it can improve upon so many already great songs, but i think that there are just some songs that lose something special when they get nightcored and this is one of them. Mordred's lullaby is a dark tale told by an evil and jealous witch to her son that she will send to kill her past lover and unbeknownst to the boy, his father. its tone and pace was very well planed as it gives just enough time to take in the lyrics and realize that something is not right but not enough time to make out just what that something is. however in this version the timing is off due to the remix and it gives little time for anything to sink in. this is no offence to Alice Riddle as she did a great job on the remix its self but in my opinion it should have been left untouched.
+philip patin I have to disagree. The high pitch and the flow of the music makes it sound more eerie than the original (in my opinion), however I can see why you'd say that as to most people a darker sound usually equals darker/more emotional music

she didn't wrote it, actually it's a story of Maurdred's mother who taught her son how his father (King Arthur) betrayed her and stole the throne and that he (Maurdred) shall return her throne even if it means his death, the mother herself is king Arthur's stepsister anf nyw, I love the original version :) if anyome know more about the true story feel free to correct me :)

Nilse (aka DJ TNT) and Steffen Ojala Søderholm (aka DJ SOS), the original Nightcore, it's just some talentless tweaking of a slider in a freeware audio manipulation program and uploading the result on RUclips under Nightcore's name. Frankly if I were TNT and SOS and this is what would happen to my music...I'd give it up, go back to school and take up accounting.
