As a collection, I like it. It’s sleek, smart, balanced. As a Prada collection, I’m slightly disappointed. I’m beginning to feel nostalgic for Miuccia during her glory days, when she had her finger on the pulse of the fashionable un-cool. That can only be because those days appear to be over. Raf is an excellent designer, but it’s clear his voice is the loudest here. Maybe Miumiu is tired, lord knows I would be after decades of pressure from a notoriously ruthless crowd…but if Raf is what we’re going to get, I’d rather know so I can properly manage my expectations and cease waiting for classic Prada to appear on the catwalk.

I know....I re-watched F/W 2002-03 ready to wear the other day and thought it was perhaps her peak.

I loved when she got really experimental with collections of nearly full lace (F/W 08), because she hated lace, or with wild prints (S/S 11, probably my favorite of her collections), metallic-faced linens (S/S 09), naughty 60's secretaries (F/W 10).....she had a vision and would change it up every season. It was exhilarating. Now I know it's going to be boyish minimalism.
Raf sucks he bombs out on every collection he designs for: Dior, Calvin Klein and Prada.
He tries sooo hard to be so "artistic avant garde" with bizarre touches that are just wrong, I want to slap him. He has removed any humor that was always part of Prada's appeal.
Stick to your own line Raf!
Miuccia is so good at beautiful ugly...but for me some of Raf's designs never really rise above ugly ugly.
Miuccia always seems to remember the women who will be wearing her clothes. I feel like the strongest echoes of her voice now are in the Miu Miu collections.
I don't think I've ever owned anything Prada , but I will honestly say ,the entire presentation is me in the morning.
This collection looks and feels unbelievably BLAND AND EERIE. Like a bunch of ppl walking to the local haunted house 😬😭☠️☠️

I'm more interested in the music lol.
It gives me 'bunker chic' vibes: the music seems threatening, the lightning is strong but creepy, the clothes are minimalist but the lines are not clear, and the colors are sober. This collection reminded me of the human natural aspiration towards beauty even in somber times.

I love the jackets with the defined and tailored front but with blousiness and batwing sleeves at the back. the patternmakers are geniuses.
i love that grey is making a comeback, and also those handpainted ombré effect on silks for cocktail dresses.
the sheer organza pencil skirt and blousy jumper would show off your pretty underwear at events. very cheeky...
loving the pop of colour accessories too especially the fern green bag and shoes. those will be so coveted by the editors.
Yup, they will be coveted by the editors, less so by the customers. The clothes are not wearable except for jackets.

@@MTMF.london I like the jumpsuits worn with the coats but, yes, I wouldn’t wear them although I might pair a top with skinny (back already!) pants in the same colour and fabric to achieve a look that would be close. Love the bits peeking out. Bottega Veneta is doing something similar with layers. The way some models hold their coats reminds me of photos from the fifties/sixties.

Loved the bags, loved the clothes too, love minimalism and wearability, and those long translucent skirts, anyone can buy some fabric and make your own version. I'm going to.
Drab. Everything about this is drab--the music, the clothing, the atmosphere, the models' expressions,..even the floor. Not inspiring to me at all.

Hmmm. I’m not quite sure what to say.
Maybe as separates this collection will have traction.
This aesthetic is for a very particular woman.
As a buyer I would have a difficult time choosing pieces for a shop.
The black dresses would be my only purchase.
Boredom- starting with androgynous stupidity: insufferable commitment to exaggerated square cut and Sheer Curtains- the variable mid 1930's women's "office" secretarial shoes- Not to mention the grating Italian B movie 1960's science fiction cinema soundtrack . 🕳🦖☄️

I like the muted, pared back look that is subtly sophisticated in structure. I like the unexpected combination of colors. Stylists who can style clothes really well will have a fantastic time combining these pieces 👌🏾

More of the mountain of evidence that Prada matters and is ever more relevant. Great clothes that don’t scream at you. Tack is obnoxious imo.

I think it's a great collection: the materials, the textile manipulations and the cuts, all feels very contemporary and yet timeless just like PRADA should be. The shoes are super strong too. Yes I miss more of Miuccia style and eclectic patterns but...

That classic silhouette from them disappeared many years ago.

I was quite disappointed in this collection . Autumn Winter 22 was a great, strong collection but this seemed to be lacking in anything interesting. Julia Nobis rules though :)

Such boring clothes. Where were the wow moments? Clothes for people who want to disappear into the background. The models' natural beauty was not highlighted by these clothes.
i feel like Simons had the upper hand here, I mean you can recognize him instantly, and I like it, but I was expecting something different from Prada... idk not my favorite collection.

Je ne reconnais plus Prada... c'est la meilleur collection depuis cette partenariat avec Simons mais c’est toujours triste et sinistre. Ou est passe la Joie Prada ? Ou est passe l’Originalité Prada ? Miuccia reste seulement avec Prada !!!!

Lately it’s look like Miuccia put 10% only and the rest is Raf simons. I think she focus on Miu Miu more.. Well with lila moss opened look all over cover magazine and celebs, the famous mini skirt and last season ballet flats..
It didn’t seem as though the clothes empowered the women. Models with their heads hung down and many clutching the clothes at their chest. The clothes just seemed to look too unfinished. Also, some of the fabric, particularly the sheer fabric was a little too stiff.
A handful of winners among too much awkward looking mediocrity.

Who says that this is Prada? I am a man, so maybe I am not the best person to tell what women should wear, but I do not see anything much that I would like to see my girlfriend wearing. Matter of fact, more that half of the collection doesn't look like Prada to me.
it may seem crazy to you but these are clothes are made to please women, not men :) and a little reminder, women dress the way they want 💕

This was a terrible show. I don't buy the unfinished hems as creative or unique. It looks like it was a student project that failed the assignment.
