You know when Ru said “Trixie is so rich.” what I think he was actually getting at is that Trixie might be the only queen who’s doing what Ru truly intended for winners to do after the show: become full-bodied multimedia moguls like he was. Sure, Ru isn’t getting on RUclips every week doing reviews and whatnot, but he doesn’t have to. He conquered multimedia for his time and has hoardes of people doing the content creation for him. Trixie is doing it in the modern age… but of course, Ru didn’t put it that way, so what do I know 😅

30hr makeup is for when you pass out at someone’s place drunk and when you go home the next day you still look fabulous even though you’re dehydrated and hungover.
Or emergencies. I've had some experiences involving the ER caring for someone and my makeup absolutely had to last that long.
Or on Drag Race main stage days when they stay up to 12hrs filming on that stage/untucked
or when you work back to back doubles at a restaurant and you unfortunately fall asleep wearing it and would like to look ok during the daylight the next day at least
Oh yeah I got over 30 hours before. Best I ever got was 1990s. I still don't know how that happened given most of it was rubbish but I had a special routine. Layer of Maybelline green corrector stick (I should retry this...wax mask it up. Bye bye oil), a full face of Maybelline concealer (funnily enough, the shades were lighter then than now. Foundation sure wasn't, that's why I had to use concealer but it lasted longer. Possibly Revlon Colorstay the only other thing close to light enough and back then it smelled like paint and it did not come off), a whacking great amount of CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder (ah to be young and be able to put a matte base on with a trowel) Maybelline Double XL mascara (bit smudged, cotton bud fixed that up) and this magical white silver rainbow glitter that encrusted my entire eyes like Siouxsie in "Dazzle". I got at a market made by some hippy. That stuff stayed on my eyes for 2 days once. Where are you magical hippy? I need you. Oh very likely hairspray was used on face too. That somehow filtered down to me pre-internet without knowing anything really about queens.
May the wigs only get bigger in 2024!

Thanks for sharing the MUF lip pencils. My mum is in her sixties and loves red lipstick but even high quality ones bleed on older skin and it was really getting her down. We tried all the usual tricks and none of them really worked. I got her the MUF waterproof liner to wear with Red Scare and it was a game changer. She feels like a million bucks and it makes my heart so full to see her so happy and confident! ❤❤❤

i would love it if you can talk about other parts of drag, not just makeup but like literally from head to toe. Where and how to buy wigs (you probably have it made custom, but for general public who doesn't have your connection), and how to wear them (a lot of queens wear duct tape under the wig, is it really necessary?). which wig glue do you use? what do you stuff your bra with? how do you make patting? how to buy dress with your patting? how not to destroy your feet wearing heels, et cetera. I know we are never satisfied and always asking for more...
I do value your opinion and I purchased so many things based on your recommendations. I mean your video is the best part of Mondays

THANK YOUUU for saying the sponge on the age rewind concealer is fierce omg. i remember a few years ago it was super popular to take the sponge off because it “wasted product” but it’s so nice imo!!
