Other versions include: "Stare into my hand for 1 min, play an island and pass" "Check available mana on opponents, play an island and pass" "Check cards in all hands, play and island, and pass" "Use Senseis divining top at upkeep, play an island, and pass"
Something tells me that the Scarab God deck was probably a Nekusar deck one day, but Nekusar was drawing (no pun intended) so much hate that Shaun changed it for the sake of going under the radar in his games. :P
Wait... if Roxie had the Swords to Plowshares in her hand before wheeling, why didn't she exile the Buccaneer instead? That way she wouldn't have lost any life.
Shaun couldve just as easily swapped Scarab God for Sygg Rivercutthroat. It was looking very similar to the Sygg 8-rack deck that one of the guys on Spike Feeders made.
I'm not sure if you guys drew enough cards in this game! Lol But seriously I love decks that gives to much of a good thing and I hope that Forced Fruition is in that Scarab God deck
Maybe if Shaun used Jace's +2 ability instead of the -1, he would've won the game. That is unless the card he drew was the Underworld Dreams. So... yeah
Going by the starting hands, Roxie's Alesha deck will probably win, since it starts with combo piece (viscera seer). RWBY? I hadn't recognized the playmat last time, but now I know, mostly because of picking up BlazblueCrossTagBattle. Surprisingly, Roxie's combo didn't win the game, mostly because it had been telegraphed a turn in advance and because you had all drawn so many cards.
I don't know why I always feel hurt when I dont see green in a game I guess I just like seeing big dumb creatures smaking people for half their life total
The sword of the animist shouldn’t have been able to be cast off of the sunbirds because it isn’t an instant and it was Shaun’s turn right? Just wondering
When a card allows you to cast another spell, it will state if it ignores timing restrictions in the oracle text. For Sunbird's its: "If you cast one of the revealed cards, you do so as part of the resolution of the triggered ability. You can’t wait to cast it later in the turn. Timing permissions based on the card’s type are ignored, but other restrictions (such as “Cast [this card] only during combat”) are not."
If an effect says that you may cast something for some duration, such as until end of turn, it doesn't change timing restrictions unless it also specifies that it does. If it just says that you may (or must) cast something, it means immediately, while the spell or ability is resolving. This overrides timing restrictions due to card type, but not timing restrictions specified by the spell's text.
Okay nice video but you need to make one change to all of your videos. When you put a card up in the center of the screen for us to read it stop making it small within like 2 seconds. The card should not be minimizing to the center of the screen where it's completely unreadable until another card is cast at the very soonest. I for one certainly cannot read those cards that quickly and once they're minimized to the middle of the screen it's completely illegible. This is a very very serious problem in your videos. Honestly it makes them all but unwatchable because you can't keep up with what the hell is going on. They are otherwise very well made videos but this issue is a huge one.
"I draw four, play an island, and pass." This is the most blue player esque thing ever.
Other versions include:

"Look at the board and cast Cyclonic Rift"

exactly my thoughts, but i think she just missed the obvious play. it happens sometimes in a multiplayer game.
Yep, I think she just didn't see the line. This was her like.... seventh EDH game of the day.
I was so sad when I saw that...i'm sure she will face palm if/when she sees...happens to all of us

It sounds amazing and exausting at the same time :O
Minotaur tribal for the win! I love seeing lesser loved tribes in action! 🐮
I love seeing decks like this Minotaur deck do well.
Probably the best game on the channel in quite a while.
I’ve waited so much for a new neheb, the worthy game
You life total can't change while under Teferi's Protection, so Roxie should not have lost two to the Glint-Horn Buccaneer triggers
Shaun couldve just as easily swapped Scarab God for Sygg Rivercutthroat. It was looking very similar to the Sygg 8-rack deck that one of the guys on Spike Feeders made.
The Mutavault playmat is a nice touch.
Ah that was a much more interesting game than the last one. Really came down to the wire.
Silence the Believers is such an underrated gem.
winning at 1 life is super epic xD
That was an amazing game! Lots and Lots of interaction and what a crazy ending I highly enjoyed this one!
epic close game! exciting until the very end. I'm surprised how well the Minotaur tribal deck did.
Roxie is always bringing interesting shit to the table. I love it (and that playmat ❤️ )

Dang, that Wheel/Minotaur tribal deck was super sweet! Esp with Glint-Horn Buccaneer
Oh Roxie. I was cheering for you to get that combo off. Hope you have more than just that combo in there thoe
chyoo Vincent’s deck is dope ! Awesome interactions & Very smart plays coming out of it aswell
I don't know why I always feel hurt when I dont see green in a game I guess I just like seeing big dumb creatures smaking people for half their life total
That play mate of rwby is beatiful
Teferi’s Protection doesn’t matter, unless people know how the card works :D
Roxie has the coolest playmat I've ever seen... I need it.
This didnt end up mattering, but im pretty sure at 15:50 its a stroke not a negate
It is negate

Scarab god player should just play nekusar
@@HenriqueLima-dw8yn nekusar draws too much hate
Good game loved it wish I had a play group like yours
I see what Shaun was doing and simply have to ask "Why not Nekusar?"
nekusar puts a target on ur back from turn 1 on soooo
Yes I love Roxie's playmat. I even have one of my own now.
Where did you get it if I may ask because I've been scouring all of the videos to find it 😅

you're the best muddstah!
Any update for Scarab God? :)
where did Roxie get her play mat from?
Roxie with the pimped out Alesha deck was sweet to see #foilplayersunite
Was Roxie allowed to draw at around 9:00 since she was phased out from the protection?
Yes, tef protection only stops interaction with your permanents and your life total cant change
@@smolclips5996 Thanks for the answer.
Allez vous souvent à Montréal?? J’aimerais ça participer a une vidéo à Montréal!!
Where did roxie get that playmate? I want one!
Has Mistform ever won a game? I really want to see it happen.
ZeroNull Yup, it has twice on camera and several times off!
It has?! Time to spend an hour trying to find it (so many videos)
I live like 10 mins away from l’Abyss how can i know when you will be there to meet you ? (if possible of course)
I'm not there often now, since I live in Ottawa. I try to announce it on my Facebook page when I go.
Can someone explain when timing restrictions are applied? As I thought sunbirds invocations cast still had timing restrictions.
When a card allows you to cast another spell, it will state if it ignores timing restrictions in the oracle text.
For Sunbird's its: "If you cast one of the revealed cards, you do so as part of the resolution of the triggered ability. You can’t wait to cast it later in the turn. @ 9:50ish I don't think Roxie would have discarded since she was out of the game due to Teferi's Protection
She's still in the game and has protection from everything but Syphon Mind doesn't target so she still has to discard.
We never got to hear the reasoning of why Vincent didn't have a playmat. Why didn't he?
He was looking for the Lighting Bolt mat. He found one eventually =)
@@MTGMuddstah Ohh okay, thank you for clarifying :)
