This features so many of my favorite players, teams and iconic jerseys.
I still have an LTZ jersey lmao
The golden age off paintball. Make paintball great again.
Lets bring it back!!!
Man. I don’t know. I don’t miss the ramping guns, the biased reffing, spinning after getting shot every time, the fist fights after games and the other silliness. But they were good times.
Nah 01-05 is the golden age. After that was trying to hard to cater to a TV friendly product
Make paintball violent again! Why is it boring to watch now? Because guys were getting their FUCKIN ASSES shot apart! Lol bring back 15 bps
@@Rusty4u I feel you but it’s boring cause people don’t want to get over shot, I’m getting into paintball and Idc who my opponent is cause at that point you better grab your nuts and fight me like a man and not like this patty cake shit of today
These were truly the days. I remember running a paintball shop in the Bay Area at the time and these dvds would be sold out on release day and I would have them playing on repeat all day long on the shop tv with some Greg Hastings rolling on the other other tv on an original Xbox. These days seem so far away now
Nice! What shop?
Time fly's... play paintball
The days before yellow paint.. I love this era..when a shocker ruled the field..
shockers and Egos. good ol days
Shocker ego Bob long Timmy and when the ion was a hot mid range a halo b loader...chris lasoya n dynasty
Saw a couple impulses and angels in the mix too! Friggin awesome to see back in the heyday of these markers I still own and use.
I still play with a shocker , no issues taking people out with it. Will alwyas love the nostalgia!
God I miss the good old days of paintball
2006/07 - I remember watching this movie so many times. On the way to the field to practice for the XPSL, dreaming of playing at the pro level. The soundtrack, the footage. This was the golden era. So much energy. I would do anything to go back to a time where my biggest worry was my next box of paint. Thx Mom & Dad..
You and me both dude. I quit at the end of this era and rewatching this stuff makes me wanna get back to it. I miss the tension before the first break of an event, slinging 20+bps uncapped semi, the godlike status of pro players, cheater boards with wild modes to fool refs. The whole sport was crazy intense, emotions were high, everyone was angry, hungry for blood and unrestrained in going after it. It was a great era that I miss dearly.
I still have this on dvd hidden in a box somewhere. This still holds up as one of the most legendary paintball cuts of all time.
Being able to watch the NXL when this came out, I thought that was the coolest thing ever! Trauma was and always will be my favorite
Maaaaaan this video brings back so many memories. Paintball meant so much to me growing up.
I remember buying this DVD roughly 10 years ago lol, glad to see it still holds up. Miss these days tbh, but paintball is still the shit after getting back into it after 7 years. 😎
Ill rock a 98 custom if i gotta.. im playing this weekend lol
That beginning intro is still the most iconic/bad ass intro to a paintball movie
my fav derder DVD, this was for me the golden era!!
I love the way Oliver Lang shows up in life! 💙
This was right after I started playing, total blast from the past.. getting back into it now! Wish I never sold my guns, especially my beloved eblade Oracle and dark shocker..
I hear ya...My heart is in pain looking back..selling my PIMP and alias timmy..... :(:(:(
i traded my karni for an 05 ego back then :(:(:(
Those were the days.
Oh the nostalgia..
Still one of the best soundtracks for a paintball video
I wish I played during that time, nowadays it's mostly just pocket plays or what ever you call them.
What are pocket plays?
Joe D very safe plays where they minimize the amount of outs by moving to the safest spots. Lots of shooting than moving
the general answer is: bps was faster... more players died off the break or shortly after... so more points could be scored in the same amount of time.
yes some teams were known to be slow and controlled, but the general consensus at that time was: "I just wanna go fast mamma!"
I love these videos! Thank you @PBNation Paintball! Watching these are so nostalgic. Reminds me of a simpler time and an epic era of paintball. I want to see us grow to the crowd we were in the early 2000s. I miss it. Thanks again!
Make Paintball Great Again! 2020
The fucking glory days guys!!!
Thanks for all the der der uploads.. i had everyone on dvd but that was 10+ years ago lol
Im getting too hyped watching these.. about to dip my toes back in the water
Do it! I just got back in the pool and its fucking awesome. Definitely not like it used to be though
@@tylerm124 since this comment id been playing every weekend since reopening from covid
Feels good to be back!
I haven’t been able to play in a few years due to having to be an adult and pay a mortgage and shit. Watching these old videos brings me back to my childhood aspiring to be these guys someday.
I love this video so much and look back on these times with fond memories, but I would be lying if I said I wish PSP 15bps with coaching was still around.
Best derder video.
The disrespect towards Strange is real. Truly one of the greatest teams of all time, they barely even made this video and rarely appear in anything despite beating every great team consistently.
Well Said, watched the video a bunch and noticed that early on didn't understand now I do thank you.
Man talk about a throwback! I still own and use some of the markers in this video.
That pevs hat on Thomas Taylor brings back some real memories.
I feel like dynasty had the upper edge wearing proflex shooting shockers(the sleekest shape with the best center of gravity at the time) with halo hoppers.
Let’s go back to the old days, when Rock music was always played at pb events and on vids instead of bad rap. When the teams were just better and everything seemed perfect
awesome content and a nice throwback
Thank you so much! Great time to be in the sport
15 bps was the dopest dope u ever smoked
Super underrated comment
Memories
My favourite video ☑️🍻🤙🏻👌🏻
Amazing ☺
"we were a penalty friendly team" lolol. No bro, I remember stitching you up when you played for syndicate and you still tried to come bunker me.
would love to get my hands on some old derder t shirts
Wish I could have been playing then
Hot potato 🥔🙌🏻🔥
omg ASG is on a paintball video
Natural selection:
I miss be able to play without tucking my jersey in.
Back when it was competitive
KICKS_FOR_DAYZ _ how is it not competitive now?
kolton ruvalcaba back then guys are playing for their careers and showed emotion but now it's just eh whatever
You're kidding right? Paintball is far more competitive now. In the mid 2000's they didn't even know how to slide or dive. The play was sloppy and the proof can be seen looking at any old videos. Guys didn't even shoot with their left hand half the time. Playing on after hits. I started playing in 2004. And I can tell you now it's not only more competitive, but far more polished in every aspect of the game.
What happened to naughty dogs and avalanche they were legit organizations
The original Avalanche exploded at the end of 2002, they just had a random squad in 2003 and in 2004 and onwards they were a rebranded Kapp Factory.
Pay attention to the video, the core of that version of Avalanche walked.
so AGG ;)
had speedfeeds not been developed yet?
Not yet.

My god the clothing decisions were NOT GOOD. Still, some amazing footage in here.
First again
You know what would get so many views? If you made videos such as greatest pro paintball moments compilations or the best plays of each tournament... these music video style compilations are extremely repetitive and more about the music/editing than the art of the sport itself
Smoove Morals I agree
100% agree... especially when the music is terrible lol
When pb was actually fun........ Now its bs with this gay 10.2bps (in canada)
When pb was gr8...now is boring asf
ONLY AIRSOFT
