    • @RobespierreThePoof
      @RobespierreThePoof 10 месяцев назад +2

      Hm. I'm an art historian and I would not quite put it that way. There are a couple ancient civilizations who had a strong interest in simple geometry, but there's a lot of complexity and unsettling imagery in ancient civilizations too. Personally, I wouldn't generalize about them. But you're picking up on something else, ancient civilizations often had fairly advanced understanding of my mathematics and designed tools accordingly.
      That said, I don't want to rob Japanese civilization of taking full credit for the aesthetics of what you see here. It really is theirs.

    The bracelet, the ring, the fitted sleeve, the south facing shadow, the perfectly cropped border, the color tones of the sand, the gong keeping rhythm and tension in the viewer - there’s an aesthetic talent here; an understanding of balance and that goes far beyond sand work and hand control.
    You might have chosen to draw patterns in sand but people like you create excellence in any craft they put their mind to, be that pottery and ceramics, painting, furniture, gardens or architecture.
    Easiest sub of my life. Thank you.

    Mesmerizing and beautiful! It is not by chance however that hexagons are formed, they are the symmetry of the universe and can be seen in the stars and in all natural phenomena. The fabric of the universe is woven in 3 6 9 and 12 as hinted to by minds such as Tesla as well as the ancient mythologys and religions.

    Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
    Only the Avatar, master of all four elements , could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished.
    A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang, and although his airbending skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone.
