I can’t say for this gaming headset, but I’ve had the first gen QC35s for almost 5 years now and they still work damn near perfect. Battery life is still amazing and this is all after leaving them in the rain while turned on by accident. One of the best investments I’ve ever made and highly recommend these headphones.

Alright guys. After watching his reviews i bought the arctis 9 headset and I’m in love. Then i realized the arctis 9 ear pads weren’t thick enough and ears were touching the drivers. After long play sessions my ears would hurt and become very uncomfortable. Well i looked online on steel series website for replacement thicker pads and they have leather pads that weren’t in in stock. So i decided to try the wicked pads he advertises about. I ordered them off of Amazon they came the next day. I installed them and let me tell you... the thickness and comfort is legit. Also being leather i noticed they trap more sound in so now my bass, mids, and highs are even better. The sound leakage has been reduced and they block out more sound around me. I was really skeptical about ordering them, but they turned out to be awesome. The reviews are legit. I bought an awesome, high sound quality headset that lacked thick pads for my ears. Then i watched his videos and went with the wicked cushion pads and now my headset is perfect. Pay attention to this guy. He really is honest.

I have tried a lot of "gaming" headphones and to be honest the bose qc gaming are ABSOLUTE better in almost every aspect (audio, quality, comfort, and customer service). The only thing that I have an issue with is the detachable mic that could go in place and lock itself.
If anyone says that the bose don't sound good for gaming are full of bs, buy them and you will understand.

I work from home making sales calls and I don’t use the QC 35’s because the internal mic is really muffled and customers can’t hear me well. What a shame but great review regardless!

Yess you finally review the QC35ii gaming!!!! Love it! The gaming edition that makes it different from the normal QC35ii are the accessories, paying for a full price, and people been wanting them to sell the mic seperate because its actually so darn good, even make it works wireless with the headset wireless! Otherwise, the headset is exactly the same model. Thou the sound profile of the Bose is pretty neutral, its very much focus on lots of details, and balance but you could increase the volumn to see if it changes for you.

These have insane potential, as they are right now they are OK but they could have been so much better. Like you said they should have been wireless to the puck like the Arctis series and have some software to control the EQ and all that good stuff. A lot of their appeal, at least for me is that they are multi-use, great headphones but you can just plug the mic in and boom gaming headset. Can't wait to see what Bose does with these in the future. BTW Bose that mic could use some improvement.

I've never understood why certain big streamers are pushing these as gaming headsets. They are the bog standard QC35ii rabranded with a boom mic.
I got these years ago for travelling to work on a noisy train. They are great for that as the ANC is great... But they are not the best you can get for audio quality and certainly not for gaming. I actually used these for gaming for a while and stumped up another chunk of change to get the BD DT177x because these just don't do gaming justice.
No idea why people like NickEh30 push these so hard, he literally downgraded from his Beyerdynamics to these for the marketing money and pushes these to his fans when there are way better options for them.

I have these headphones too, everything you said about them was to a "T". There is one other thing I disliked as well, the "Puk" which is actually called a "DAC" (digital to analog converter) isn't loud enough. I had to buy another DAC a sounds blaster model to get the volume I needed. I also agree that they should have been completely wireless from the beginning not needing any wiring whatsoever. That is my two-cents with it.

I bought the QC 35ii on Black Friday for $179.99 I just bought an OEM boom mic attachment for $49.99 from a reputable eBay seller.. I called Bose and they are not selling the boom mic attachment.. There’s a lot of 3rd party boom mics out there but if you look hard enough you will find an OEM..

I thought he was actually gonna use with a, wait for it... Video game. And make a review based on that. Otherwise he just raved about how good the QC35 is as a BT headphone.

Hey techne you should make a comparison about the gk61 and the mizar MZ60 I can’t decide between these two

Love the QC35's I have the regular one, mostly bought them because of noise cancelling and comfort, I couldn't find any other headphone with that level of comfort two years ago.
What gaming headphones would you guys recommend that is be close to QC 35s in terms of being able to wear them for long hours without feeling pressure to your heads?

shewww, I also agree urge qc is so cozy. there really isn't anything that light and comfy. a close second would be the SteelSeries Arctis headsets

Instead of a 3.5mm jack wired connection, they should have offered a USB IO connection.
Then I could have the reliability and low latency of a wired connection, and also keep the battery topped off at the same time.

I bought the QC35 II Gaming because Amazon had them listed at $219 whereas the regular QC35 II were listed at $299. Not sure why such a price difference exists for the same headphones plus the accessories. Suppose the "gaming" headset didn't sell well or just confused consumers? Either way I got the QC35 II for way cheaper lol

    Hi!
Would you recommend me to buy arctis 5, 7 or 9?
I’ll use them for ps4/ps5 and my phone (music)
