Another great episode! RIP the Luminar, definitely a lesson learned from that fight Not sure if you know of this, but to save a few seconds while scanning planets and searching for anomalies, you should warp to every planet in a system while continuing to look for anomalies, warping to a planet will "scan" the planet for abberations as if you were scanning a planet with a system probe (medium resolution)! Once you find all anomalies in a system, you can continue warping to unscanned planets while using the system probe in parallel to scan any remaining unscanned planets too. This is a method I actively use while looking for x-satellites and Vexnium deposits while in turn for some ANs and VXs as well and it's shaved off a few seconds of system scanning for me. With the dangers of drones and NPC pirates in wild space especially, actively warping between planets helps you keep your ship's shields and hull in check! Stay safe out there.
yep, I used to use this scanning method in the early days of the game, and it definitely makes things less risky, it's a good tip for players starting out, thank you!
