A friend is planning on using Ambots for her Ogryn. The rest of our play group is not only encouraging it, we're finding boxes on discount for her and any spare 40mm we have. Because angry killbots charging us is something we think would be awesome.
Your Videos are invaluable! Thank you so much for giving us your perspective. They help me a lot and I also enjoy your content quite a lot. Love the simple but information packed format.
I've had some pretty good luck using Aevos Jovan accompanying a meaty squad of Ogryns. Just getting to bring back a whole Ogryn is suprisingly powerful.
One thing that was lost in version translation with the Veleraris Storm Section was their Shroud Bombs. These were a key part of what made them work so well in 1.0; charge them in aboard a Dracosan, jump out, spam volkite fire and enjoy watching Astartes fail to counter-charge your unit. In 2.0, that tactic is no longer viable and leaves them unduly exposed in the close assault role. They’ve gained +1 WS while losing -1LD and switched to having heavy type… which really necessitates a transport for them unless playing the rotor cannon game. I feel your assessment of the 90 point, volkite-armed base squad was overly harsh, especially as the equivalent bodies in marine-land costs 145 points. That said, the points are off given the rotor cannon armed unit costs the same base 90 / extra trooper 8 points as the volkites; in the case of Tactical Support Marines the brrrrrrt gun carries a 5-point premium on the free volkite charger. Interesting video as always, thanks for the insights. And yes, Charonites FTW!
Honestly I really wish the Solar Auxilia didn't go away in 40k They seem to actually hold they're own against Space Marines despite being normal humans And I just love the steampack look they have

Thanks! Glad its of use and enjoyable!
I second all this. Such fantastic analysis. I like the balance between themed lists and effective lists.

Scions just don't make a good enough replacement.
@@Traven158 Of course not but they can replace all the Guardsmen regiments
I just wish they had rules to use them in 40k like surely some world in the imperium at least still uses void armor and lasrifles
The HH community writing off a perfectly viable unit? Nah. Can’t believe it.
do tell?
Awesome.
talking sense as usual. I have to run you through translate first though. 😀.cheers.ta.
