I think that when people say that they are "Trash", that it's the person who just doesn't know how to use them properly. Super excited to run them in Nightlords Terror Assault. Gives you the extra firepower that the HS limitations deny you. Nightfighting helps to discourage early shooting into them as well. Great video, as usual. Many thanks because i didn't know what to think about this unit a part the models are cool. Then a sabre tank video and maybe an ultramarine lists recommendations. Please, please 🙏 Cheers 👍
Hi , i'm think thousand sons also love jetbikes because the units with cavalery sub-type also have the minor arcana , the +3 mouvement or the ability to snipe a character if they are equip with multi-melta can be interesting🙂
There's also the lore to consider. Now, the Jet Bikes hit and run tactics might not suit companies like the Imperial Fister's or Ultra Butt-Marines, but it would suit Raven Guard down to the ground.
Definitely worth noting that Blood Angels jetbike sergeants can get inferno pistols which is definitely worthwhile even on a volkite squad for opportunistic vehicle sniping
Bikes for IF are fine honestly. You’d wanna use them purely as mobile support if you take the Heavy Bolters, but otherwise you’re better off taking MultiMeltas to wreck armor ASAP. If you take the Heavy Bolter option you definitely want to take a minimum of 5 and you absolutely can take more as needed; you can try to take advantage of the Hit & Run with bigger squads if you feel you’ll be ok on the way out, but that’s a last ditch effort.
I’m definitely getting jetbikes for my word bearers legion. As I’m going assault & destroyers are very much in my plans for my legion build. Skimmers are in my plans for heavy weapons ie melta & lasscannons on javelins for my anti tank & dreadnought problems.
Super powerful with multi meltas in a space wolves army.with the move run shoot mechanic you're pretty much guaranteed to get into half range yes you're only firing snap shots but don't forget multi meltas are twin linked
I often run a squad of 4 with volkite in my SoH army. I find them great for chipping away at troops choices. People always talk shit about these bikes but Heresy shoulf remain about playing whats cool
I've been running whitscars bikes all of this and last edition, while they are not as good as they used to be they still have their uses. That being said I found that 1 unit of bikes seams to run better then multiple small squads and volkite, with a tech marine makes these quite a deadly unit
What Consul would you put with a squad? Thinking of getting 2 boxes for a unit of 5 and character to lead them for my scars (No Chaplain, centurion or Champion, already got those)
I have wondered about using them with my Blood Angels. Deep strike in using Day of Revelations melt a tank then charge into something and try not to get shot to death.
Feel like raven guard bikes with infravisors could be good with volkite or plasma. decent anti infantry with night vision and the ability to give them 4++ cover saves with cameleoline and ROW/reaction/advancing

I don't know why people thought they were expensive. They are about the same price as the elite 2W jump infantry many Legions can take, except they cannot be pinned and tote heavy weapons by default.
Because they used to be only in resin, which is pretty expensive. Then there's also that the White Scars scheme is tradionally one of the very hardest to paint, due to white paint being annoying to work with.
