The problem with trying to improve the situation of foreign workers is that it requires political will, and that only comes when it's an issue that will earn you votes. So the logical solution is to motivate Malaysians to fight for the rights of foreign workers, but the problem is that the vast majority prefer being xenophobes and scapegoating the foreign workers instead of placing the blame on those who created & run the system.
Foriegn workers came to Malaysia with 3D working Visa but end up doing bussiness like opening " kedai runcit" , car wash, warung pasar malam, warung pasar pagi , retoran Mamak,warung roti canai, sub contractor in constructions etc. They are competing with local Bumiputra enterpreneurs in bussiness. That is " Perkasa Warga Asing" not " Perkasa Bumiputra" becos local enterprenuers paying profit taxs to LHDN. The foriegn worker doing bussiness don't pay tax to LHDN becos they use " Lesen Ali Baba" . The sad thing is JIM which allowed them to come " tidur saja" , not taking action to monitor where they are & what are they doing. Malaysian go to Singapore to work in 3D jobs not doing bussiness there becos the Singapore Immigration is very strict on this matter. KERAJAAN GAGAL DGN CERMELANG. PH 👎👎👎👎👎
