    my favourite advice from him will be 48:35 - 55:07 . "Even if I were to fail as CEO, I could always go back to CFO". It shows that he did not afraid to fail because he knows to be succeessful, you need to take risk and ready to fail and learn from your mistake. Thank you so much Tan Sri, this advice is what I really need right now 😭

    Tan Sri is bestly suited with Malay quotes "ikut resmi padi, semakin berisi semakin menunduk". You really best representing Malays and Muslims into a very different level.

    Indeed, by choice and by design, Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar remains a very grounded & amiable person endowed with humility despite being very successful. Obviously, he has not forgotten that he came from a humble background.

    Great questions Chuang. I like that you allow Tan Sri to talk and only jump in with relevant points. On another note I wanted to add Broadcom which is listed on Nasdaq has a Malaysian boy from Penang as its CEO & President.

    He deserves to be at much better position...nevertheless he always deliver / execute his responsibilities professionally. Back then late 90's, until now, the records speak for itself. Except one unfortunate event where he had to step down from PNB.
    Wish to see TSAWO is given more important role to chart the nation.
    All the best TSAWO. May Allah bless you.

      Before being a group chairman for PNB, Tan Sri Wahid was a former minister back then under PM Najib’s cabinet in charge of economic planning. I feel like he could do a better job than abang non as FM, but i don’t think it’s possible since his senatorship is already capped.

Thank you for being the type of scholar that makes things so relatable and accessible to us 'marhaen' folks. I've had the opportunity to see you talk face to face few times already and I always come out so inspired. Thank you, Tan Sri, please know that you are making a difference.

    Malaysia is a rich country. Had we governed and optimized our talents/resources well like how he alluded without corruption, wastage and politics, Khazanah would have doubled the AUM and Bursa Malaysia would have doubled the market cap from what it is today!

    • @lindapurple1253
      @lindapurple1253 11 месяцев назад

      Khazanah shrunked its asset and lost billions of ringgit during PH1.0 ruling. So you are right, corrupted politician like Guan Eng (his corruption case was dismissed even at that time the judge had acquited prima facie but his former attorney became AG) should be kicked out of this country.

If do MNC that deal with clients and global colleagues may need English. If do own business can succeed without very good English.

    I simply love it whenever i see a "towering" talent from among the Malays, amd i am sure that there are many of them. Unfortunately, due to our ridiculous discrimination against the non-malays, so many good Chinese and Indians talents have been thrown down the toilet. Our country can do so much better without racial discrimination. Remember our multiracial football team back in the day?

      Malaysia should strive to be a progressive socialist meaning the country must be progressive, capitalistic and free market in nature especially for all Malaysians/Malaysian businesses but, make sure allocate 30% of resources/money support/help those in need regardless of race. Give an example of admissions to universities/scholarships. Out of 10, 7 would be based on merit, 3 would be those in need but, did quite well. I'm agreeable to that.
