Most of these are really nitpicks but they still prevent the execution from being perfect.

In my opinion revenge of the sith is the best but empire strikes back is my second favorite film (1) Revenge of the sith (2) The Empire strikes back (3) Return of the jedi (4) Attack of the clones (5) A New Hope (6) The phantom menace I haven't seen the others yet but I will when Lego star wars the skywalker saga will come out I like all 6 films I know many people hate attack of the clones but it's not that bad
Empire, along with The Godfather: Part 2, Toy Story 2, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, comprise the top 4 sequels ever made. I'd say Godfather slightly edges Empire out, but there are more Star Wars fans than there are Godfather fans, though the latter franchise was big in its own right.

I left the theatre after watching this film saying "No, that's not possible." Yet, I knew it to be true. No other cinema experience in my life has EVER been so incredible. Thanks George.
I’m only 19 but I remember watching the movie for the first time when I was 9. Even though Lego SW II already spoiled the plot twist for me, the story and especially the soundtrack had me glued to the TV and stressed out because it showed me how huge the Empire really is. I’ll never forget that feeling
I still find it fascinating that George Lucas spoke with at least one if not more psychologists to see if the big twist reveal about Vader was going to psychologically devastate the kids he wanted to see the movie...

Afterwards, I felt like I identified with him even more, because I refused to initially believe it. I don't think it devastated me, but it definitely shocked me. I remember thinking about it for weeks.
And the director: "irvin kershner" and the screen writers "leigh brackett and Lawrence kasdan". All of them get way to little credit for this amazing movie

I love the THUD of prowse as Vader up the stairs. That sort of thing should have been amplified by the Foley artists. I am thankful though we couldn't hear vaders robotic limbs.

Yes, much like how the Tattooine scenes in ANH were shot first. But just like in ANH, where the crew suffered the worst rainfall in about 50 years, the Hoth scenes in Empire were made more difficult by the largest blizzard the location had in decades.

He was barely involved in this one; he only outlined the script. Irvin Kershner and Gary Kurtz were the underappreciated heroes that made ESB the masterpiece it is.

If he "abandoned" SW because fans didn't like his movies, do you really expect him to come back for sequels?

2 things I take away from this: Hamill was jacked-up; and Fisher was gorgeous!
