  • Chores during winter can be challenging- frozen water, frozen ground, and very hungry animals. Here is the daily routine.

    I had farm animals, mostly sheep, most of my life until about five years ago. I never had to do chores in the snow so I don’t know how you do that. I miss them occasionally but I don’t miss the constant chores and lambing in January. When we moved five years ago our new place didn’t have fences and I’ve made a point of keeping it that way. Seeing your sheep barn brings it all back and I’m happy with that. 🇺🇸

      Thank you Failure- I’m glad my flock can bring back pleasant memories for you. Sheep farming ain’t glamorous- it has a way of keeping you humble and grounded. I had to stretch all of the fence that tries to keep them confined!!

      You’re correct about keeping humble. My idea is to eat hamburgers rather than steak. 😂@@reppfarms4493
