That looks like so much fun! I had a hobby shop and clay oval for years. The 2008 recession claimed the hobby shop but not the track. About 6 years later we are slated to race mud boss in the spring! Can't wait! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Awesome video. I used to race my quads there. The farm show was always a blast. I was always intrigued by the rc car races. They were all nitro back then. This video makes me want a Buggy or truggy even more! I’m in nwnj. Motorama isn’t too far from me. My son would love this! Thanks!
Great video! It brings it all back. I bought my first RC 10 in 1988 and began racing right away. I did it and traveled some to races and loved it. Nothing on this level but still...good tracks. Some of my most fun was racing in a small gym in a grade school. We'd race wherever we could Really good job f capturing exactly what it is like.
Dude, I used to race with George and Marshon at Trax 70 like nine to ten years ago. Sadly, I mean I was always behind them, lol. Give them my regards. Good dudes. Went to Motorama as a spectator way back when. I never left the hobby just not racing for now. F***ing miss it.
Do 1/10 2wd and 4wd buggy, ST truck race at this event or just 1/8 and short course? I realize it’s a really big track for 1/10, just wondering if not all the classes were captured on this video.
Good video. I wish videos conveyed how gnarly the track was. It looked way bigger in person. The off camber turn doesn’t look like much but it was actually fairly steep. Maybe I’ll run next year. Gotta get some more 1/8 scale practice before then.
What platform "truggie" u running? Team associated, losing, traxxas? I have 4 2wd vehicles an am wanting to get a 4×4 just curious what's best racer setup thanks and great video
I've raced everything for years. Outside, we used an ez-up. In the cold months, we used an ez-up with sides for heat. WHY an open ez-up for indoors without sides & no heat? (In no way am I being a smart a*s, just wondering)
corey Krush if you are anywhere around the northeast area you should check it out. They have it every year in February. They have this plus arenacross, 10th scale oval, rc demo derby, a crawler track, 10th scale carpet off-road track coming next year. They also have nice cars/trucks to checkout on display. All indoors.
Why isn't rc racing bigger? Maybe cause the cars are not real? No one has a buggy like that in racing. Kinda small too. Hard to bet $ on races like this. Stands should be full. 1/4 scale short course I bet you could get ppl in stands. I'd love to race. But notice what's up...? Poiness
6k. Jesus. This sport should be more popular. Truggies aren't real. That's the problem. Scale is the way. 1/4 and up. Real racing. You flip over stuff breaks. Shouldn't have ppl flipping cars over. See how you race then if you roll over you're out

Kudos to all the racers and everyone out there in rc land that can drive their rc like this. As a newbie I'm so jealous 😎👍
its not easy! but sure is fun when you do well. thanks for watching

i love about an hour and a half from harrisburg, what's the name of the track?
Not a track its a car show that has moto cross rc racing battle bots go-kart racing and a car show part
What types of rc cars will they let u run?
Great video and awesome footage 👍 Congrats on making the A. Love attending these big event races. Thanks for sharing
Very nice video & race. But no info about your cars, motors esc lipo and so on....
What tires worked the best on that track?
i allways loved the ss proline buckshot. buggy and truggy. if you have the skill to keep it in traction a tighter pin tire is better
how on earth do people fit into the cars?
That marshal at 22:10 had some skills 👍
The rc cars are like those gliding squirrels (thats a compliment bc those types of squirrels are fast!)
For real when they jump it reminded me of them too
