I dont know if this is true but basically, gman jumpscare = prepare for chaos This will happen when being careful too much, which if you wanna solo in the hardest difficulty, you will most likely encounter the buddy To avoid this encounter, do aggressive playstyles like rushing in doors or run alot, this way it can lessen the chances to encounter him But if you want to farm for EXP, its better to let it happen. The more encounters the more EXP you get since most of them counts as EXP (like lockingpicking doors, securing enemies or ziptie) If this is fake news im sorry, I just saw this in one of the new HELLMET tutorials
for me his appearance happens when he's already done something already. like he spawned two stabbers in a row and i saw him in the hallway when i finished and turned around.

this happened to me at the second checkpoint but i wasnt doing solo i was with my friend i tried to tell my friend to check discord and what happened but he said he didnt see the message. it also happened to me on another run when i was at the second building first stairs on the rooftop
