I have Ankylosing Spondylitis but apparently I was also diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at some point in 2012. I found out in 2020 when I got the records from my disability battle (which I lost twice; even with lawyers). The doctors don’t tell you anything unless either they feel like it or you push them. You really have to be your own advocate.
I agree with this!! I always have to get on my doctor's ass about everything, prescriptions, diagnosis.. anything. My boyfriend has Osteoarthritis, herniated and torn discs as well as some other issues with his spine and then Ulcerative Colitis. He always has issues with his doctor and them taking care of his issues when he is having a flare up. So many of these doctors just don't care and it's sad.

I went through the same thing with a lawyer as well and they told me almost everyone has to get denied twice before getting approved. They know most people give up after being denied. It’s like their way of seeing how serious you are if that makes sense.
I’m dealing with similar issues. I had mono as a kid- and remember the doctor telling me and my mom that this could cause issues for me as a adult. I now am treating Lyme disease and it’s been a very difficult journey getting this diagnosis and treating it. You got me also wondering if my past with mono has negatively affected my immune system. All of it is connected, I am unsure of the virus your talking about but I really hope you don't have any complications from that. I'm glad your doing this, so many people in the world suffer from a lot of these same things. My ent doctor popped my sinuses with a balloon, it was nice....helped with my eye and breathing situation. They wanted to take out my tonsils but I didn't. Imagining the systems in your body working (like the mucus and breathing systems, using your diaphragm, balancing excercises) has a really cool effect on the pain that comes from all this. Can't wait to find out more and yea that surgery seems scary bc of where it's at.

I literally have the exact thing with the esophagus and hiatal hernia and gerd.. I go on 30th for botox in esophagus and another endoscopy then to move on to the hernia hopefully will repair it bc it causes major acid reflux.. Prayers for you.

I actually have a medical condition that causes cysts all over, they then turn into little burrows so tons on holes all under my pits and groin and sometimes they HAVE to be removed to get the sack out or they'll reoccur

I thought you had Chiari Malformation?? This would explain your headaches and eye pain and neck issues. I too have it and I have so many issues because of the Chiari! I had a cyst at the base well actually a lipoma at the base of my spine! I was born with it, but not diagnosed until I was 17! It’s a form of spina bifida called tethered spinal cord. The tethered spinal cord also caused my Chiari! You sound like you have the same issues I dealt with for 17 years and actually still do deal with! Please reach out if you wanna talk about this! With the tethered cord and Chiari not many doctors out there that know how to treat these illnesses!! Also I too would look like a normal person if I was well known like you are! People don’t really know how much we hide our pain!!
I have the same esophagus and stomach issues. Ended up having a surgery called nessin fundoplaction to correct the hernia. That was the worst mistake i ever made bc it just made things worse

Unfortunately I drink soda again but I'm trying to quit this. I know you don't know me but you remind me of my beautiful daughter Michelle. She was only 28. She died Oct 2020 to a car accident. Girl I know how you feel. I have a bunch of health issues and they still can’t find the cause of my allergic reactions. My allergic reactions send me to the ER once a week. It’s so tough to go through all this crap and have no answers. On the outside we might look fine but we struggle every day with pain or whatever. I’m here for you if you ever need to talk!

I have a very rare kidney disease called Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome (LPHS) and it is difficult to have people understand my pain.... it took 15 years to be diagnosed.... hidden pain and hidden diseases are the hardest to deal with. I feel for you with the endoscopy. The endoscopy showed that I have an extremely inflamed esophagus and she put me on a medication. Not sure how long I have to take it. I go back to my gastroenterologist again in dec for another consult and then I need another endoscopy to see if the issue is improving. I'm hoping that I don't have to quarantine again in dec before the procedure. I also had to get a covid test done b4 I could have the procedure done. Oh so lovely covid here on NJ!! I'm being sarcastic. But it a big pain the ass having to wear a mask and be in quarantine b4 a procedure. Good luck with everything and thank you for sharing
I’m cerebral palsy and I don’t get appointments that early. I suffer for from it ever since I was born. I had a massive seizure that ended up Almost dying ended up having lack of oxygen to my brain I have trouble walking. I wish I was having doctors this quick. Some people can’t afford them. I have syringomyelia and never wore glasses but now my prescription for glasses is at its limit and trying to get more mris without paying has been so hard. Totally frustrating and painful.
I have problems with cysts in my breasts and ovaries and the doctor said that caffeine can make them grow. He told me to cut out caffeine and take vitamins A and E.
Have any of them recommended a new diet, or exploring a dietician’s advice? A lot of the foods we eat effect is all different in crazy ways! Especially gastritis. Praying for the best outcome for you! 💜💜
I have those MRIs, ask for something in advance and they will prescribe something to make you not care. One an hr before and 1 right before. I still had to pep talk myself but it went faster and easier (I had 3 hours worth back to back). Good luck!
I had an endoscopy done in March, and I also was told I have a hiatal hernia, and inflammation in my stomach (gastritis) and esophagus. They also took biopsies. I changed my diet, eliminated all acidic foods, as well as all dairy and coffee and gluten, lost weight, and it's improving.

I actually have a medical condition that causes cysts all over, they then turn into little burrows so tons on holes all under my pits and groin and sometimes they HAVE to be removed to get the sack out or they'll reoccur
Get your breast implants looked at! They may be causing some of these health problems

You are blessed to be in America. In Toronto Canada. I would have to wait 6 mo to a year per specialist appointment. (I have) What you just did in a week would take years with socialized health care. Hope you feel better soon Jenelle.

I thought you had Chiari Malformation?? This would explain your headaches and eye pain and neck issues. I too have it and I have so many issues because of the Chiari! I had a cyst at the base well actually a lipoma at the base of my spine! I was born with it, but not diagnosed until I was 17! It’s a form of spina bifida called tethered spinal cord. The tethered spinal cord also caused my Chiari! You sound like you have the same issues I dealt with for 17 years and actually still do deal with! Please reach out if you wanna talk about this! With the tethered cord and Chiari not many doctors out there that know how to treat these illnesses!! Also I too would look like a normal person if I was well known like you are! People don’t really know how much we hide our pain!!
The headaches could be from barometric pressure changes. Everytime it rains I get severe migraines to the point where I will puke if I move at all

I have the same esophagus and stomach issues. Ended up having a surgery called nessin fundoplaction to correct the hernia. That was the worst mistake i ever made bc it just made things worse

I'm so proud of you how you've grown and accepting responsibility. I've had gastritis! It can be very painful. I quit soda, greasy foods and tried to eat bland until it healed. Unfortunately I drink soda again but I'm trying to quit this. I know you don't know me but you remind me of my beautiful daughter Michelle. She was only 28. She died Oct 2020 to a car accident. In a way your relationship with your Mom reminded me of ours sometimes.

Girl I know how you feel. I have a bunch of health issues and they still can’t find the cause of my allergic reactions. My allergic reactions send me to the ER once a week. It’s so tough to go through all this crap and have no answers. On the outside we might look fine but we struggle every day with pain or whatever. I’m here for you if you ever need to talk!

I have a very rare kidney disease called Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome (LPHS) and it is difficult to have people understand my pain.... it took 15 years to be diagnosed.... hidden pain and hidden diseases are the hardest to deal with. People see what they want to see, especially those who would never u derstand unless they have it themselves.... they will never understand until they are actually living in your shoes.... which means most people will never ever understand.... love to you Jenelle... stay strong...

I have alot of health issues too but I'm old so it's part of aging...I spent the entire month of June in the hospital with COVID-19, so PLEASE be careful out there!!!

I would have them look into implant sickness. Girl, I’ve had a few friends go through all this and it took them so long to find out it was all from their implants 😭

I feel for you with the endoscopy. The endoscopy showed that I have an extremely inflamed esophagus and she put me on a medication. Not sure how long I have to take it. I go back to my gastroenterologist again in dec for another consult and then I need another endoscopy to see if the issue is improving. I'm hoping that I don't have to quarantine again in dec before the procedure. I also had to get a covid test done b4 I could have the procedure done. Oh so lovely covid here on NJ!! I'm being sarcastic. But it a big pain the ass having to wear a mask and be in quarantine b4 a procedure. Good luck with everything and thank you for sharing

I’m cerebral palsy and I don’t get appointments that early. I suffer for from it ever since I was born. I had a massive seizure that ended up Almost dying ended up having lack of oxygen to my brain I have trouble walking. I wish I was having doctors this quick. Some people can’t afford them. Most people can’t.

I have syringomyelia and never wore glasses but now my prescription for glasses is at its limit and trying to get more mris without paying has been so hard. Totally frustrating and painful.

I have problems with cysts in my breasts and ovaries and the doctor said that caffeine can make them grow. He told me to cut out caffeine and take vitamins A and E.

She has constant headaches....not just from contrast
I have those MRIs, ask for something in advance and they will prescribe something to make you not care. One an hr before and 1 right before. I still had to pep talk myself but it went faster and easier (I had 3 hours worth back to back). Good luck!

I had an endoscopy done in March, and I also was told I have a hiatal hernia, and inflammation in my stomach (gastritis) and esophagus. They also took biopsies. I changed my diet, eliminated all acidic foods, as well as all dairy and coffee and gluten, lost weight, and it's improving.
