- My last vlog showed all the excitement of Jace coming to live with us full-time, now the circumstances have sadly changed once again. I had lots of requests asking to explain what's been going on. In my opinion there in a reason jenelle was the way she was from the very beginning and it’s clear bab wasn’t a fit parent for jenelle either. Yeah she was the best option for him at one point, but now as an older lady there is no way she is fit to raise a preteen wild child. He needs to be with his mother.

He is a pre-teen who's life has been filled with drama for his 10/11 year old life. He needs therapy to get through the emotions he is feeling. What is happening right now is not working and will make things even harder for him.
Jace has ADHD, him being naughty is normal for a little boy who has ADHD

The way this child is being threatened to be passed to his mom based on behavior and is probably one of the many reasons why he’s acting out. 🤦🏾♀️

Your mom does seem pretty awful. I remember watching Teen Mom 2 and you were trying so hard to parent Jace and your mom kept getting in the way wanting to do everything for him. She robbed you of the opportunity to be a parent and connect with Jace. The fact that she still holds Jace from you every once in a while even though you both have split custody is beyond me.

Precisely! They both have behaved badly in front of him. They both blame each other instead of changing how they communicate with each other. It's important to remember how much Ms Barb gave up to raise her daughters son. Janelle has always seemed irresponsible and ungrateful for that. No matter how much we "change" there will still be consequences for our past actions.

So we are seeing Jace act out the same way Janelle did while under Barbs roof.... instead of trying to find faults in Janelle, we really need to look at the pattern of behavior that comes out of Barbs presence. Y’all ever thought maybeeeeee the reason Jenelle has been through so much and rebelled and had such an up and down relationship with her mom is cause Barb was not the best mother herself? I have seen personally someone with a terrible mom have so much trauma and done so much stuff they shouldn’t of because of their own upbringing. Barb has issues LETS BE CLEAR ON THAT, and if Jenelle has issues it isn’t just because of herself. Childhood trauma lasts a lifetime. Jenelle is trying to break the cycle for Jace but it’s a learning process.

Maybe Jace said things to Barbra now she feels quilty.If Jace is acting up she probably is finding it hard to deal with. As Jace goes in to his teens it’s probably going to even get harder.

Jace is most likely acting out because everything he's seen & heard his entire life. That's the way it goes, kids get older & everything that they were exposed to comes out. He probably does better when he's with you, because you too were like that as a kid. So you know how to handle it better. Hopefully he's seeing a behavioral therapist, the child has been bounced back & forth & exposed to so much his whole life.

It’s physically impossible for her to get custody of Jace legally. Her mom was granted permanent custody in 2017. If her mom won’t sign him over she will never get him back.

Jenelle has been trying to be his parent for years but she was young when she had him and needed to take time to grow up to be the best parent for Jace. You only see a portion of thier lives, you have no idea what goes on when the cameras cut off. Therefore, if you have nothing nice to say then you shouldn't say anything. Have a good night!
Everyone is saying "oh I wonder where Jace gets it from?" Well do you wonder where Janelle got it from? Her mother is toxic, none of us should judge anything cause we only see what we are allowed. Media makes things look the way they want for their views. Anyway it's a cycle, Janelle got it from her mom and Jace is getting it from both. You just said people should be grateful you share your story? The sad part is you really believe that. That your so important that people should be grateful you share. Your son has spent years with your mom and you take him for 2 weeks and act like that means he lived with you and she “took him.” You can’t take someone’s kid from them if they have them and are caring for them. The same relationship you have with your mother is what I have with mine. Your mother and my mother is a mirror image. You and I are a mirror image. Everything you’ve been through I’ve been going through. My son is only 7 right now but my mom has been trying to take him away from me since he was 1 month old. I was forced to live with her at her house because of CPS which then blew up in my face because my mom went behind my back and called CPS on me (her own daughter. Her ONLY child)...I no longer have custody of my son and it’s because of her. She has completely destroyed out relationship and I have been fighting to be with my son since she did this to me 2 years ago. I know exactly how you’re feeling. I am so sorry you have to go through this. There was one episode in particular that I saw when your mother was laughing at you because you were upset about your son Jace. My mom does the same exact thing to me. She has even choked me in front of my son and still won in court. (Because I never wanted her to look bad as a grandmother even though she has no problem at all doing that to me TO EVERYONE. slowly but surely her side of the family has been cutting her off one by one. So it’s only a matter of time before my son is back with me full time again. It hurts me because this is my OWN mother doing this to me...but it hurts me more to see my son being extremely affected by this situation that my mother seems is OKAY to cause between her grandson and his own mother. But I just want you to know no matter what...I’m on your side. Sometimes parents aren’t good for us to be around 24/7. They try to control every detail in our lives when they see us stand up for ourselves. And those types of parents/grandparents are the ones that are truly the fucked up ones. Not us. No one will ever understand what it’s like to have a toxic mean parent that thinks it’s okay to take away your own and ONLY child from them unless they’ve been through it and see that they are dancing with the devil. And also my son acts out to be with me also. I really believe he does this bc he WANTS you and only YOU. You are HIS mother. Not Your mom. But a toxic grandparent they will always feel they are BETTER for the child then the child’s OWN mother. So I can’t even imagine doing this for more years to come... I need my son full time bc that’s what makes myself and my son happy. But my mother thinks she can do a better job bc her Gigi (grandmother) took care of her when she was little... so now my mom wants to be called “GiGi” to have a relationship with her and my son the way she did in her past. I keep thinking I can be civil with my mother also but every time I get too close to getting my son back she sets me up for failure and fucks our relationship up and my life with my son.
