@tom given the situation at the time, I think she did what any mother would. She’s talking about it, and has admitted she wishes she didn’t do that. There is always room for growth.

@Crystals Texas Channel! he snapped at Ensley bc she was being too rough with him. No red mark, no broken skin. They should have taught Ensley how to act around a dog. It was never the dogs fault.
@Crystals Texas Channel! this is a very broad statement to make. I had pets before I had kids. My kids were raised around our pets and we never had issues bc they were taught from day one how to treat them. Some owners can’t handle kids and pets, I agree. But saying “no one with small kids should have pets” is a little misguided. Plenty of people have kids and pets and it works out fine. You just have to take the time to teach your kids how to act around them.
P.S. conclusion:Never ever rush into marriage.

My husbands an addict. We have been through it since 2013. Ups and downs. Vodka made him mean, very very mean. We have three boys including twins who where babies at the time. Had to document everything just like you, but he recovered after a year in treatment, so I was a “single” mom for that time and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Nobody understands why I stayed or why I put up with it, I couldn’t imagine going through that in the public eye. Truth is when things where good we made each other better people we were best friends but it boils down to mental health and communication. Taking care of your mental health is so important. I feel for you and can understand why you chose to stay.

Have you tried researching different ways to communicate with children depending on their ages? I have found this helps me.
Through everything you've been through it's clear your number one priority has been and always will be your kids and I think you are such a great example of strength, courage, and being an amazing mother.

It is hard being a single Mom and not having any support or a support system. I got prego with my 1st at 16. I just turned 35 and I have 4 boys; 17, 16, 11 and 5. I've been on my own since the age of 15 and even through all the ups and downs along the way it has made me a stronger & wiser person, Mother & friend.

You’re not the only one girl, I have 4 kids, but my 2 youngest are boys (same father) and they have special needs, and my boys listen to their dad waaayyyyyyyy more than me. Idk what it is but my boy’s therapist say it’s an alpha thing something about a mans voice being stern and deep catches kids attention easier and quicker than us women
