    What do you reckon about the sheep names? 😅

  • @Bennie32831
    @Bennie32831 6 месяцев назад +1

    Sugar in the form of pellets with molasses will lure them in for Pat's /hugs 👏 movable electric fences and the bees won't stay just inside your place they will be happy there looks great

      Cheers Bennie, I’ll look into those pallets. Are they similar to the sheep nuts? We brought a bag of those pallets and the sheep seem to like them, they are gradually getting friendlier haha

    The longer the grass the better water infiltration and less erosion and less evaporation ✌️

      @AdventuresWithRosy  6 месяцев назад

      Ah true! The sheep don’t really seem interested in the long dry grass? They are loving the longer green stuff though 👍

    I suggested getting sheep in one of your videos a couple of months ago 😄 Yey! You’ve done your homework (love that) - Wiltshires are a great choice! 🐑🐑🐑

    Awesome lawn mowers though

    Great having some 4 legged lawnmowers. The chickens really need a fenced in area. We use a 50m roll of electric chicken netting (search trademe) and can just adjust the pen size and location as desired. Before you get them establish some rat and stoat traps around the property. Also hedgehogs can kill chickens so reduce the predator numbers in the area and they should be okay free range.

      Ah that is a great idea thanks! I’ve see the odd rat around and we have had a few hedgehogs, didn’t know that they can cause problems for chickens! Thanks for the info. I think you are right, they need a proper area that we can move around etc

    Waiting for you guys deal with fly-strike, dags, etc. And then the business of turning them into meat!. Should be interesting! Oh and when your girls make pets out of the sheep. Been there, done that!😁

    • @AdventuresWithRosy
      @AdventuresWithRosy  6 месяцев назад

      Haha yeh, wait until they want us to get lambs next year and then I’m bottle feeding them twice a day 🙄 apparently the fly-strike is not so bad with the Wiltshires but we will definitely keep an eye on it!

    Hey Bronson, can I ask a random caravan question? Been really watching your vids about the vacationer and starting to think we may have found exactly what we’re looking for. Just a question about the main bed, specifically the size. How do you find it? Is it a standard double? Just wondering if it’s wide enough and also long enough, being east west. Hope you don’t mind the question, just really interested in how it compares (size wise) to the larger north south beds. Thanks a lot. Matt

    • @AdventuresWithRosy
      @AdventuresWithRosy  6 месяцев назад

      Hey Matt! No worries, ask as many questions as you like 😁 I just measured the bed up and and it’s about 1500 wide by 1900 long. I’m 180cm and find it pretty comfortable, I move all the other pillows off the bed haha, I’d say if you were taller you might find it a little tight potentially… because there is a storage compartment at our feet its not like you can hang your toes over the end of the mattress haha

      Awesome, that’s great Bronson. Thanks for the response! Really appreciate it. We’re a similar height so sounds like it should be ok. Thanks again mate. Cheers
