Hello Kedar, i have one regarding "to" word in sentence. At 07:32 in the sentence gone to Berlin, why we used NACH instead ZU ? Because to means ZU i assumed ich bin zu Berlin gegangen, why we used NACH here? Please clarify my doubt here. If it not possible can i write in fb or insta?
zu is for specific locations ex. zu House. Nach is for not specific locations but towards. like towards Germany= nach Germany. Use chatgpt or GEMINi (bard) AI tool for this type of doubt. They are very helpful. you can write when to use nach and zu in German sentences. You will get answers. You can ask any doubts to AI.
This is ChatGpt answer.

In German, "nach" and "zu" are both prepositions that are used in different contexts. Here's a breakdown of when to use each:
"Nach" is used to indicate direction, time, or following something/someone:
Direction: "Wir gehen nach Hause" (We are going home).
Time: "Nach der Schule" (After school).
Following someone: "Er lief nach mir" (He ran after me).
"Zu" is used to indicate direction towards something or someone, or to describe a purpose:
Direction towards: "Ich gehe zum Supermarkt" (I'm going to the supermarket).
Purpose: "Ich gehe zur Arbeit" (I'm going to work).
Here are some examples of sentences using "nach" and "zu":
"Nach dem Essen gehen wir spazieren." (After eating, we go for a walk.) - Here, "nach" indicates time (after eating).
"Ich fahre nach Berlin." (I am traveling to Berlin.) - In this case, "nach" indicates direction (to Berlin).
"Er geht zu seinem Freund." (He is going to his friend's place.) - Here, "zu" indicates direction (to his friend's place).
"Ich gehe zum Arzt." (I am going to the doctor.) - In this sentence, "zum" is a contraction of "zu dem" and indicates purpose (going to the doctor).
Remember that prepositions in German can sometimes change depending on the case (accusative, dative, etc.) and the specific context of the sentence.
