I picked a few up at auctions for under 20 each and decided to experiment with them. Took the handles off and attached the seeders to the rear cultivator arms on my Super A. Cheapest best 2 row planters I have ever used.

Actually the fertilizer attachment drops it on the side. I have it and it has two tubes that drop fert on the right and left side of where the furrow was made. Side dressing
I use an Earthway seeder too. I was lucky enough to have someone give it to me. They said they couldn't get to plant just 1 seed at a time. I didn't have that problem, I just went slow & kept an eye on it. I've been using it for many years. Love it. Way better than planting by hand.
I have had this seeder for years and have used it for beans, peas and small direct seeded seeds but for the life of me I have never been able to plant sweet corn. It way over seeds sometimes dropping 4 seeds at one time creating more work for me as I have to go back and thin out where it is too close together. I cannot find any discussion of anyone else having this problem. My sweet corn plate is a little different than yours and only has 4 hole slots in the plate.

How will you cultivate with the rows spaced this close together? I also have an EarthWay seeder and PTO tiller for my tractor. My rows are about 56” apart. I’m able to cultivate with my tractor, 1 row at a time. Good video!
Looks and works great! Ive heard the sweet corn plate plants at a distance of 18.3cm between corn. Isn't the distance too small becuase rows are usally 70cm?

Yea a little downward pressure is needed. It rolls pretty easy and the front tire has small treads on it. Seems to work alright

I get the odd corn seed that jams it up, but maybe the belt is too loose? Or something might be out of alignment?

About 20 cm between corn in the same line, and 65-70 cm between lines.
