Congrats on being Doss Farms first give away!!! Thank you so much for supporting the Doss family through the years, we love them and you for supporting and the guidance you provided.
Chad from @DossFarms sent me. Thank you for working with him to give one of his viewers a gift! It is wonderful of you to work with Chad for making it to 100,000!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Awesome! Love the thought and care that goes into the innovation of your tools and products. My first test run with my seeder was trying to seed non-pelletized carrots, beets, and lettuces. I was certainly frustrated trying to figure out what seed plate to use but the seeder got the job done anyways! I think this will make an awesome tool, that much better! Thanks Hoss.
I would like to see a new model that has maybe 4 or more hoppers side by side in a multigang configuration that you can plant multirows at the same time and also lets you plant something different in each hopper.
Way to go Hoss! Every little bit helps the small farmer. Maybe a filler of some type with carrot seeds if needed. Sand or whatever. Flapper wheels with varying numbers of flappers may also be helpful.
You totally inspire my green thumb!! Found you through Doss Farms i love them they sre really a great family and they take care of there animals like there own kids except ones they are going to harvest of course lol! Nice to meet you!! Im hoping to get that lazy garden and some seeds i live in Florida so im excited for all❤❤❤❤🌅
Greg, you had at "prototype" a few months ago! I saw your video on this, when it was still in development, and was ready to order one right then! Zinnia and Buckwheat seeds are first on my trial list! Ordering mine now!
Nice attachment. I wish you would come up with an improvement for the wheel hoe seeder attachment rear wheel. I purchased mine before the stand alone seeder was available. It won't work in my soil so I use my earth way seederbinstead
That looks interesting! Good that it works well for different size and shape seeds. I had an idea about how you might be able to make the seeder more compact. Could you make something on a long pole with wheels at the bottom closer together and lower to the ground and the same hopper on top? That would be cheaper to ship and might be better for people who are just growing in their yard versus a big farm. I have a plot about 9 feet by 6 feet and have looked at your seeders because I like the concept but don't need anything that big.
Do I understand I can use this new hopper and plant beets, with out them being too thick? Have always used pelleted seed. I plant about five hundred feet of beets on the first planting. They second planting is about another three hundred feet. Is there a recommendation of how far to open the for different plant seeds? Other words, say set at second notch for beets, etc? Is the new hopper listed on your website? Thanks for the information. The Hoss seeder is top notch for me. I still need to design a hitch connecting it to the back of my garden tractors,
Can someone let my husband know I want this seeder😊.. Is this new hopper on the seeder now when it’s ordered? Or do we need to order it separately? This seeder really is first on my Christmas list.
How is this better than my antique cast iron midget no 2 ? I don't know maybe it is? Can I order this without all the handles and the front wheel? Can I get it with a sleeve hitch? Can I just get a pile of parts and not pay the outrageous price you normally charge for "replacement parts "?
@@gardeningwithhoss Sorry, maybe not. There are some here that look a lot like typical spammer bot posts. It wouldn't have anything to do with you "using" them.

I’ve never had problems with the old one . But now I don’t use it anymore. My garden days are over, life is short.

You could furnish other agitators to space seeds further apart so the hopper would replace many of the plates.
It would be nice to have a taller round hopper to hold more seed for the bigger seeds like bush beans, etc.

How about a lid for the hopper?

Will it work with the old planter that hooks up to the wheel hoe
yes
How is this better than my antique cast iron midget no 2 ?
I don't know maybe it is?
Can I order this without all the handles and the front wheel?
Can I get it with a sleeve hitch?
Can I just get a pile of parts and not pay the outrageous price you normally charge for "replacement parts "?
We only sell it as a whole, or the replacement parts listed on the website.
It won’t plant peanuts. Please develop a peanut hopper.
Comments section is almost all Bots. It's getting bad these days.
