Honestly can't say i am hyped for it at the moment even though i loved Dragon Nest. After what happened to Blue Protocol i'll just consider games as non existent until we get atleast a closed beta in western regions or some kind of confirmation like a set release date that is in the near future or something.
If gameplay will be like in original or kinda close it will be great. But its for mobile/pc mutliplatform and I have so many concerns. And I guess no character creation with classes?
I played every class in Dragon nest it was AAA MMO back then, no other game had those smooth animations.. even the cleric was fun with his crosses falling from the sky 😂
Man the nostalgia hits hard with this, I loved Dragon Nest played it since it released 2011 with level 24 cap up until 2017 or 2018 I think. I have always thought that DN's combat was way ahead of its time my favorite was how they designed the Warrior classes of ML, Gladiator, Barbarian and Destroyer, seeing Dragon Sword just made me wanna play DN again or Dragon Sowrd itself, the only fix I'm getting when it comes to action combat right now is from a gacha game like WuWa so I am excited for Dragon Sword after seeing some nostalgic moves from DN
They can implement PvP but without any gear a.k.a balance PvP like in OG dragonnest where no matter what you wear, all players have the same stat in the PvP room.
Honestly the art style looks nice. There's a bit of Genshin, Fate and Granblue Fantasy in the character designs as well as a bit of Granblue Fantasy and From Software in the environments and monsters. Looks great..... but it's an Anime game so it'll either be really terrible or really amazing, there is usually never a middle ground.
As soon as I saw the Webzen name pop i had the same reaction, dam love dragon nest and can't wait to play this i just wish it was a different publisher.
Heh about 1 month ago I made a comment on one of your video asking where this game was and someone answered "its been 2 years man, vaporware forget about it" Well now thats funny
as someone from SEA where dragonest exploded DNest got big in asia because of its competative PvP i still remember some big shots of pvp on asia yanyang, mizueggu idk how this game will fair in its pvp but it looks cool on pve
@@army128 so which possible option is left in south korea ? hound 13 have a bad relationship with nexon due to then killing dragon nest with bad management so what is left is maybe chinese publishers like tecent or netease?
hell no... look how netmarble massacre our game ni no kuni cross world... it's was fun on release day with guild activity but the progression patch by patch make it worse than before. After that I'm more scare with their future game 7DS:Origin. Hopefully H13 will do a better job than netmarble and nexon
Keep calm keep calm (this looks so fuggin good😭) never played Dragon nest 1 but hoping this has character customization and is a true action mmorpg…I’m in dire need of one
Blue Protocol could have survived if they just released it in the West tbh. Bit we gotta move on now. MMOs in 2024 need to release globally, be multiplatform, and have Cross Play on launch. It really looks like they don't survive or make returns in profit otherwise.
Is it already in google playstore? Can't seem to find it. Used to play dragon nest sea years ago. Been a fan of pvp and might go back to playing dragon nest games again.
I really like the look of the game graphically and I loved Dragon Nest's, I am really irritated that it looks like it's going to be a gacha game. Hopefully it won't be but God damn it, I wanted to customize a class.
Hm..I'll try it, but it depends. Still don't have a lot of info. Dragon Nest itself was the game that opened me up to the genre of action online RPG game and it's become my favorite genre, so if I do play it'll be out of...idk, sentimentality. Still, depending on factors I may stick with it or drop it.
I'm not really that updated in the community, but I feel like I see a lot of dislike reaction to most publisher when their name appear in the screen. So, I want to ask, which publisher is actually count as good in the mmo community right now?
Webzen i remember from Age of Wulin. Was one of the best open world pvp combat system but Webzen ran it into the ground with to much p2w monotization 😭
I played dragon nest since it came out but when I watch the trailer of dragon sword it doesn’t get the mechanic of the game? Why? The triple, dual up to 10-20 combo’s attack. when dragon nest came out after 2-3 years the combo attack from dragon nest 1 to dragon nest 2 decreased dramatically that why dragon nest style is different to other games this is how they label the game. Dragon nest is about combo attack 1-30 sometime more depends how you do it. Talking about dragon sword I would say not really dragon nest because where is combo attack from 1-30 or more? This just experienced from veteran player of dragon nest and until now I play dragon nest! Cya!
ONe of Dragon's Nest best selling part is its PVP, so no pvp is a no go. Also if you are worried about the p2w of gacha for pvp, did you not know or play Dragon Nest then? You can have pvp same with Dragon Nest where everyone has Equal Gears. To Elimnate P2W in pvp
Sad this will be on mobile/pc so skills and controls will be made so minimalistic like in Genshin. It looks like Dragon Nest but sadly this will be Genshin in different art style. Hope I am wrong
Can I simply ask ; "WHICH popular MMO publishers DO you like?" I'm at the point that every time I hear of a publisher for MMOs, either they're VERY infamous for the terrible business practices they employ, or I've never heard of them and can't base an opinion on them. Reality is that self-publishing a game can be extremely difficult, especially if you plan on reaching a wider audience by having the game shine through multiplayer online, and if it's an MMO, it's nigh impossible to maintain without a publisher. Yet, every single MMO-oriented publisher I know of is terrible to a great degree.
Are YOU going to try Dragon Sword? (Dragon Nest 2)
Definitely going to give it a shot, it seems to be the closest thing to Blue Protocol so far.
I'm still playing Dragon Nest 1 ! xD
Yes but wheeeeen???? I am sick of waiting for games
Heck yes, but the question is when is this game coming out?
Absolutely!!!…until p2w

Pfp Cloud my Goat Strife? Yeaaa you know what your talking about, but seriously I agree.
Better learn how to adapt.

В 2014 уже было 40 уровней
If there’s no character creation then that’s a major blow to the game
They can implement PvP but without any gear a.k.a balance PvP like in OG dragonnest where no matter what you wear, all players have the same stat in the PvP room.
3:45 I see Shooting Star skill animation..they probably reuse the moveset from Dragon Nest, and i dont mind at all because they are cool
Finally a game to revive the mmobyte channel, and bring it back from the gacha depths.
Edit: Webzen.....
pray dragon sword will save us
Here’s hoping!
Dude, you are my way out every time I get stuck for accurate INFO about Anime Games. Love you buddy

Sadly that’s true. I’m hoping for the latter, rather than the former!
Finally, recently I got scared that nothing else would come out and it would be cancelled. I was even playing Dragon Nest again xd
Oh, they are still cooking it. Surprisi-
Thanks for bring us the info, bro.
Thanks for watching!!

Nice will try it once it comes out
Glad to hear it!
I really hope to feel the same magic I felt from when I fist tried dragon nest combat
DragonNest 2 is what im looking forward to the action system was sooo good. Sometimes Im tempted to go back and play Dragon nest.
Kinda cool that they are still using the original dragon nest logo
excellent if is gonna be a mmo we are ready. looking forward for more news related to DRAGON SWORD.
Loved the first dragon nest, if this actually comes out before it dies then I'm definitely playing it
Looks sick I hope it’s good!👌🤞
Same here!
I'd like this one to be available everywhere and not get its servers shut down for most countries years later
Keep calm keep calm (this looks so fuggin good😭) never played Dragon nest 1 but hoping this has character customization and is a true action mmorpg…I’m in dire need of one
WE'VE GOT NEWS !!
What little they've shown looks promising. But I won't get my hopes up till we get some actual gameplay to evaluate.

finally some news
Yup! About time!
I just want a fighting mechanics like Dragon Nest, the dodging and shit. PvP is so good at dragon nest. Good ol' days T___T
If blue protocol has taught me one thing….
I actually loved deagonnest
I just played it alone and fukking loved it
Hope it holds up and is like dragonnest
Soooo Hyped
Looks good 👍
It does!!
Wait they're the ones making project M too? Holy this is big
This is one of the ones I’ve been waiting for.

i loveeeeee dragon nest bro so this game will be my favorite too
Glad to hear it!
this is what dragon nest 2 should have been. and not the mobile shit we had.
Never heard of this. Gotta see this
Project M looks so sick!
Oh my god, finally.
We can call webzen predatory, but remember that DN came from aa day and age we would spent money breaking weapons at the blacksmith.
i love dragon nest, i'm prepared to buy new pc just for it
Hehe I loved it too. What class did you play?

You talking about it's going to be like a genshin clone
While the gameplay in the website clearly shows gameplay similar to GranBlue Fantasy
Yay, another game where the main game play is swiping hype
The character designs make me think there is no character creator which worries me.

Top 10 mmorpg games should play now pls
When is release date ?
@MMOByte Looks fun hopefully it will find its fanbase
Quite a while I heard about Dragon Nest news.
Im more excited in Gran Saga. That game is fire
As long as it’s decently difficult like dragon nest was on release, I’m down
Im betting you the combat gameplay is still the same as the old dragon nest and ragnarok origin
Immagine a game with combat like AG pvp
I don't mind a Genshin clone as long as it has multiplayer and character customization
Wow!
They already post some of bit gameplay that it is gacha BUT its not too much focus on gacha instead they just gonna focus on hack and slash
Hopefully they don't copy genshin with multiple characters to control. I just want play MMO with a focused single character and party system
Webzen i remember from Age of Wulin. Was one of the best open world pvp combat system but Webzen ran it into the ground with to much p2w monotization 😭

En Masse Entertainment. But they shut down. Which shows decent publishers can’t make it - you need to be shitty to survive.
its pc /mobile i saw in a video a year ago
