It seems as though this Event is not in the "Novice" servers, only the Normal and Hard. Hopefully it's something they add, but if not you'll be able to participate when moving to Season 2.
On the one hand it's really cool that they let you complete the event faster when partnering, it does encourage socializing. On the other hand yet again it makes me feel punished for not having friends.
lol, yeah I feel that. Im sure you can use it as an excuse to make a new friend in General chat. Theres lots of us solos. Just toss out a message. Worse case you're only missing on the 9 bonus Essence.
This looks great, I am still in phase 5 novice server, really like these videos on what to look out for with new server/ season, can't wait! Could you also share what is available on wish machine in hard server?
Thanks! I did two videos on the Wish Machine variants if you want to check out the builds. One server version has the Jaws Pistol Unstable Bomber and the other server version has the MG4 Predator Fast Gunner. The rest of the wish machine is the same with the Boom Boom (fire build) and Hardy Gloves. The server your on (Novice) I believe is the SOCR Last Valor (Shrapnel Build).

For the seasonal? It's all about the group you go with I've found.. if you go with players that don't get the mechanics it can be miserable but a good group makes it super smooth. I'd bet in the Second Season it will be a lot better than the first.
How are they going to manage season transfers with all these rare "shinny" deviants they're releasing? Can only trasnfer over so many season to season. Plus how do you display in your base what you've collected. 20 containment units is not enough to do this. Needs another way to display them that are not containment units or need to be transfered over season to season.
That's a good idea! I think we are going to have to just pick our best/favorite ones going forward. Everything can be displayed in Eternal Land and you can cross-server invite others to see your stuff. One of my Hive mates turned his Eternal land into a museum of things that he has obtained.
i quess i will just make base with no walls in future cause the devs fkd the building fully . my base just snaps outside my perimeter and cant do anything about it

if you finished your weekly then it shouldn't let you claim anymore. If for some reason it does then I would hold off. The Seasonal you can claim as much as you like.
I have a few tasks ready to be claimed even though i am 10/10. Not sure what happens if i click claim lol i think i claimed one earlier by mistake and i lost an essence, but not sure as it happened before i realised there was a limit?

That's a good observation. I bet they bring this out at the start of Season 3 with a starter Deviation then 3 weeks later swap to another later deviation like the nutcracker.

Its so cool but this seperatrd season and event mechanic is so bad now i sit here watchong your vid and have to realize i cant acess this content for another 4 week lol. If they care about ppl get behind help them to catch up instead of this bad system. I had a no choice i had to start on new server coz i wasn't able do join existing server... Now i have to wait weeks to be able to do most of the conent i see on youtube.
Yeah I feel you. They are still learning from their mistakes with the servers. There are some fixes coming out that will let you join friends even if the server is full and its in the later stages, but thats still weeks away. Once you're off the "novice" server you'll get this and some of the other new Anomaly stuff. So won't be long!

I hope this game isn't making a thing out of gate keeping content for only veteran players (veteran "accounts" would be a better descriptor) Hell, I'm one too, but I rerolled from the crappy PVP servers late (and I also started playing 2-3 weeks into the July launch, "only").
I wasn't a fan of this either but Novice players are still experiencing everything for the first time so theres a lot more content there for them. The normal/hard players are replaying older content so any bit helps. However, my best guess is because they want it to run 3 weeks and none of the normal/hard modes were at the point when it came out whereas some of the novice were already past it. I don't think they just want to give content to veteran accounts, I think it was just a timing issue.
It's for sure not something game changing but out of curiosity which kind of event would you be interested in seeing? I sometimes get a chance to talk to the devs and I can relay the feedback.

Try moving the base by pressing B, then Z to bring it up to move.

This event is apparently only available on the new Season 2 Normal and Hard servers. If you are playing on the Novice servers you will need to wait.

probably on phase 4 when the actual dungeon for the nutcracker open up( forsaken giant), but it's just speculation (i'm also on pve-51 hard)
