Howth Cliff Walk at Howth Head, Dublin, Ireland

Join Terry & Sandra for our Howth head cliff walk as we take you to Howth Head, Dublin, Ireland. We start off at Howth Harbour then come across some stunning views as we walk through the clouds in our attempt to reach the summit. We are astonished to see just how many international and local tourists visit Howth Head cliffs. Not all make it to the top but we give it a good go. If you're looking for Dublin walks then the Howth Head Cliff trail will not disappoint.
We talk about t "Eire" sign installed almost 80 years ago to warn fighter pilots not to drop bombs on Ireland during the second world war.

Shame the clouds were so low , fairly unusual for that cliff walk , there are spectacular views on a normal day

I grew up close to there and use to walk it regular , if you had gone another 5 mins you get to a lookout carpark and beside that is the Summit inn lovely Pub and food, big open fire for a well deserved Guinness. Then you can walk back down by the main road all down hill and your back in the Harbour in 10 mins😁 should have kept going 🤣
