I am becoming more and more of a player who pulls their own mods together and less of a player who does a "plug and play" collections player. this will help me a lot! thank you!
Yeah. I did help me a time or two with converting (there were leftover dirty things in the mod) Not strictly part of the conversion, but mods from the Dark Ages are sometimes 'unclean.'
How come it gives me an error like "there is too many selection" I never picked another but the specific mod so why when exit out the error and go back in the data, other files were selected WHEN I NEVER SELECTED THEM IN THE GOD DAMN FIRST PLACE AHHHHH
It has worked with several mods but it fails with Shadow of Morrowind Overhaul, the LODs of everything added by the mod appear purple, and I have repeated the process countless times without being able to fix it, any ideas?
Hey this is a great tutorial! I got to port a mod to the newest version of AE. However I would also like to backport the mod to 1.6.640 too, do I have to downgrade creation kit and/or skyrim ae to do so? Thanks!
Forgot to ask:which mods from LE we should take into considerations for AE?so far i only found LIND robes/ancient dwemer and maybe mushrooms.but bigger ones like quest/dungeons i think they all got ported right?thanks again
A lot did. I converted a lot of ThirteenOranges' mods, which were small quest mods that never got ported. Which is why I decided to learn how to do this in the first place
@acep3452 Well, AE and SE are essentially the same game. As long as the mod doesn't rely on SKSE or .dlls (which is the same difficulty for LE to SE conversion), it should work out of the box. It doesn't have different animation and mesh types.
is there a way to fix the difference between ae and se in terms of skse or dlls because i got sent a two modlists to get them to work and one works fine iv played it myself but the other is making me more and more confused so is there a way to check if it is skse or the dlls causing the issues?@@enragedbard
@@lordsathariel4384 Well, those both are either AE or SE. I don't think there's a way to tell which they belong to. I'd say check the download page and see which version the modpack says it is.
See, for me the two big mods that I wanna convert if I can are a glowing eyes mod called "Spectral Shades" that was removed from the nexus so definitely no port... and an early version of Moonlight Tales Werewolf & Werebear Essentials that still has not been ported yet. I have no idea if I even can b/c the Moonlight Tales one definitely uses SKSE so...
Hello, I'm trying to put a mod that adds ninja clothing to the special edition, but I can't open the creation kit, and this mod is from the first version of Skyrim, is there another way I can do to put this mod? thanks!
Hey man. I need your help. I have gog Skyrim SE and I just can't make creation kit work. I need to update a mod I made back in 2010's and its called RIVERWOOD RANGERS in nexus. Can you help me? back then I wrote in the description "anyone can modify & reupload as they see fit" So can anyone here reupload my mod after updating it and making it compatible with Special edition and anniversary? I would really appreciate it. Its a simple mod in riverwood. A house and vendors and followers. No quests no complex things in it. I would be ok even without the followers etc. It was something I made with passion and now I cant re-visit it...
Hello im having a problem with downloading the cao file i keep trying to download it but it wont finish it stays on the same percentage. im using 7z if that helps
Thanks. Doesn't work on the LE mod follower HYMN Fragmented Android. Most of its textures/meshes are invisible in game no matter which level of optimization is used.
yo how much do i have to pay you to port a mod from le to sse it doesnt include any skse files or .xmls or hdt files im trying to get it to work for my skyrim nolvus modpack
Hey quick question, I realy enjoyed A Worlds Dawn mod on LE, i noticed it works out of the box with SE (1.5.97 is the version im running), since it only relies on that. But it IS a scripting based mod (it adds RPG enchantments randomly to items nearby). Will this brick my save in the long run? Or should i be good if i follow this guide regardless to be save?
To be honest, I'm not sure if it'll work properly. You can test safely. Before you add it ingame, make a backup save. If it doesn't work, remove the mod and revert to your safety save. It's always kind of a tossup. I would not convert it midsave if you've already used it in your save.
It looks like it at first glance. You might also be able to Compact and ESLify. It worked with Kingdom of Forsworn. Give it a shot and see if it works.
Hello, I used cathedral assets to optimize my game and now it crashes right after the "bethesda" screen, I didn't follow the tutorial correctly, is it possible that it is due to setting optimization high? Before that it worked and I am completely sure that I did nothing more than this, I would be very grateful to have an opinion and if it happened to someone and they fixed it, please provide a solution, I am sad

After a couple of tries, I've finally gotten this to work. Thank you so much!

I actually *specifically* came here to be able to try ThirteenOranges mods. Thanks!
Great! The xEdit step is not strictly necessary, but well, it's usually a good thing.

Love the video. Also love saga frontier soundtrack.
Extremely helpful, thank you
Super easy guide. Nice 👍
really straight forward. thanks a lot man
Succinct and straight to the point, well done. C:
Can't seem to get a follower mod to work, nothing special about it either, rather lost with it lolz, any idea's ?

My advice is try again, try re-downloading. It is a big file
I convert a followers to SE and it worked. All except for the hair, it's bald. Does anyone know the fix for this?
well, steam version of creation kit don't play nice with GoG version of skyrim
Many thanks :)

Unless you're messing with scripts or SKSE plugins, they're pretty version independent as I understand it.

Yeah I don't think it'll work if it has SKSE-related stuff. What's wrong with the current version of Moonlight Tales SE?
@@enragedbard All the big features it adds. I just used Werewolf Essentials b/c it had easy customization and a few little things I used.
@@JS11thorI know this was awhile ago, but what about Moonlight tales mini? That’s really just the basics of the mod.
How can i fix ..._n.dd files being over brightened? CAO doesn't work.
Don't really know that
I love you ❤️

I think there's a port already out there on Loverslab, if you're willing to brave the jungle.

Sounds like a problem with Nexus? FYI the CAO from Github and Nexus should be the same

I would re-download and start over. Try again, just use the recommended settings, delete the old mod
Ancient dwemer metal needs to be touched or the patch are enough?thanks!
Yep, looks like it'll work just by running it through CAO!
Is there a way or a video that shows how to convert Skyrim PC mods to Nintendo switch? I've got skyrim NX tool kit but don't know what to do next

Does it work with follower replacers?
As in appearance replacers or something like Serana Dialogue Overhaul? Former - probably fine. Latter - I am unsure.
Is it still supposed to be flagged as Oldrim? Edit: Nvm I did it wrong
How did you manage to fix this because I've had no luck
my mod isnt showing up in ck
Is it active in your mod manager? Also, if using vortex, ensure the plugin activated
this is not a good guide for ppl who never modded in their entire life. Please be slower next time
I'm a fan of not artificially stretching out videos, so I tend to just go straight to it. You can always play it in .75 speed.
are you kidding me this cant be that easy
Oh but it is!
