Thanks for the content ! But if RDP is secured by a very, very strong password, wouldn't that make a real difference? For instance in my case my passwords are extremely complex because I have studied how to make complex password, which doesn't take much time by the way. I also access RDP with a non-guessable name account, far from Administrator, Admin, ITAdmin or the like , which again makes thing far harder for hacker as far as I know. Anyway, many thanks for your putting this out, really informative content !
Thanks for watching! Just a password is not enough nowadays, no matter how complex it is. And there's more than one danger in exposing your server. An intruder can brute force their way in or they can acquire your login credentials by means of a keylogger, visually picking it up, breaking into a password manager and so on. Without MFA your account would then be compromised, but with MFA they still wouldn't get in. Another thing to keep in mind is that by exposing your server to public internet you're also opening up an attack surface and making it vulnerable to DDoS and other malicious events.

Oh yes, hele videoen tilogmed!
good intro, well done. Constructive criticism - speak a bit slower to let students process the concepts. Great presentation though. Quite informative.
Thank you, glad you found it useful 👍
Also, thank you for the feedback, it is duly noted ;)
