I have a 3500 psi pressure washer and it got it all so higher pressure Def helps. I also got a swivel attachment too. Bonus is that you can flip it over turn down the pressure and quickly wash your driveway of mud or just power wash the patio or fence faster. Great videos btw.
I used to put a yard sprinkler under my truck it would get most of it off and soften the rest so it would rinse away then I used a pump sprayer to degrease and wash with pressure washer
I tried it once too, but the amount of water wasted was just too much. If it’s real bad I’ll use this to soften things up, but the best way is to get under there with pressures washer and get as much as possible
@@KeepItDirtyOffRoad Those firehose hose attachments that DG and some part stores have work good too with good water pressure the one I have works as good as a pressure washer and throws a heavy stream .
Problem still is water waste man. That’s a lot of water wasted. A pressure washer will use 1/10 of the water used with a traditional hose sprayer. Again man. Highly recommend a pressure washer. It’s not about the amount of water but rather the force behind it.
Exactly, even with my cheap pressure washer it still saved us time and I did not have to lay on my back and get soaked for hours trying to clean it all off
just got back into jeeping i know its an old video I was wondering how well these worked. May try it out with my 3200 psi pressure washer and see if it gets the mud and dirt off.
Great review. I'm buying one of these for sidewalk edges. I have a DeWalt 3400 PSI that knocks things out of the park! Do yourself a favor and upgrade to a 3400 PSI gas PWasher or higher. And quit using the white tips for your undercarriage area. Spend $18 for a turbo nozzle, it will knock all that dirt and mud of4 so much quicker!
Yeah, waiting for my pressure washer to die. It just won’t. I do have a turbo nozzle but seems like the focus presssure is a bit much sometimes. These trucks have a lot of cabling and sensors under there that I would be worried about damaging.
you need a higher GPM pressure washer, got a pressure washer with 3700 psi and 4GPM, i have a similar under carriage cleaner, and it works amazing @4gpm
Don't know which one your talking about. When I got this one, there were very few options. Now I'm sure there is more. Shoot me a link so I can take a look.
If you have that beautiful truck then you can definitely afford a gas pressure washer lol around 2800-3100 psi with that undercarriage washer. Definitely does a good job cleaning undercarriage
DatCarGuy350 it’s worked great so far with my little electric pressure washer. You don’t always need the best or most powerful tools man. You have to work in within your own budget. And a Gas pressure washer is not worth it to me and more expensive to run.
This used standard fitting. I forget the size off the top of my head but I’ve used it with a few pressure washers. Only way it would not work is if your pressure washer uses proprietary fittings.
If you put bigger wheels on that thing get it higher off the ground you get more pressure on the bottom of your truck. But you really do need a bigger pressure washer gas 3400
@@coreysolomon2818 just about everything in an engine can and does get wet when it’s raining. The only areas you have to keep water out on is the fuse box, and the intake. You can even power wash your engine bay if you protect those few key areas.
Tony Christensen 🤣🤣🤣 so many reasons. Dry mud turns to rock and it can cause all kinds of damage. It can destroy brakes, bind suspension, weight down electrical lines, and depending on where you went mudding it can cause more corrosion. To keep the truck running strong you have to clean it as soon as possible after mobbing.
Thunder ODS mud can cause a shit ton of damage. I’ve seen big brake kits get ruined, wheel weights torn off, even sensor ripped or when the mud dried. It’s worth washing off. Dirt is fine, but mud is not
🤦♂️🤦♂️ watch the video again. How can you block the road from a parking spot? How can you block the road in a culdesac? Really dude, this has got to be the dumbest comment I’ve gotten on this channel.

Thanks man. That’s good to know Higher pressure makes it more effective.

I actually bought that for use with my 3500 psi power washer to clean off the salt and brine they use on the roads in NJ.
Nice, works really great for that too.
Check out the ryobi one it only has 3 nozzles which means more pressure
Awesome as always.....sounds like it needs more pressure but for the price and the time savings.....A+

It does a good job with light mud. But for the thick stuff, it’s great to soften it, but not remove it.
@@KeepItDirtyOffRoad got one similar to this it has better jets and the 3200 psi and slow even passes really got the dirt off nicely
@@shawnmcandrew6923 which one did you go with?

Yeah, I know man. For now I’m blocking 2 of the ports to get better output from my smaller pressure washer
why didn't u buy the $27 one from amazon with the 2 straight and 1 angled wand extension

Can we use it on a portable pressure washers like Sunjoe or rock rockers?
Standard pressure washer connections so no limit on what you can use it on as long as it connects
Thank you
Those ramps lol.
How do i know it will connect to my Karcher pressure washer?

Yeah, that’s the major drawback of this thing. But it does the job to soak and loosen things up.
Will this attach to a karcher k2?
Jaime Deguzman I don’t see why not. All pressure washers use standard fittings. Unless it used something fancy or different it should work
Yes buy it'll be weak
thats the smallest pressure washer ive ever seen is it electric?, But i dont know how I would feel using my 3600psi pressure washer on my car
Yeah. They make them much smaller too. 2000 psi is its max and perfect for washing the truck. But yeah, not enough to run a 4 nozzle attachment
this tool rated for 4000psi you can clean better, it's not the tool's fault. it is still amazing
Yeah we did talk about how removing 1 or 2 heads might work better with our pressure washer.
Is it safe to spray under a car engine?
Lol, yeah. Everytime you drive in the rain your spraying the bottom of the engine.
I'm guess I'm will the water hit spark plugs?

What's the point of cleaning it if it's just going to go back into the mud anyway

Trapped mud causes rapid corrosion. It acts like a sponge when wet.
What’s the point of taking a shower if you gonna get dirty anyway
