    absolutely amazing, topped off with the perfect benchy. you know it's a good printer when the thing is so robust and well-built that you can use it as a coaster.

    Love the sophistication of the build, your attention to detail and neat wiring. The benchy looks absolutely flawless. Well done Sir.

    your video was a pleasant surprise. From A to Z.
    Technical: clean build, excellent finish on parts, interesting choice with the thick "textolit" sheet under the bed
    Aesthetics of the machine: wow! Just wow. Parts positioning and cable routing, you had patience. Additionally, you even fooled me at the beginning: "whaaaat? all metal? no way" :-)
    Video: you're good. Intro, rotating zoomed close-ups, a dynamic mix of normal speed/ fast speed. Once I pressed "Play" I couldn't skip, watched it till the end.
    Soundtrack: I liked it and it fit's the scene, also good that you still kept from time too time the original noise of the printer. For some of us, THAT is music (we sleep on)

    Mate, that build looks absolutely awesome, amazing work! That rigidity and print quality is insane! I'd love to build a tank of a machine like this some day. How did you achieve that pristine turn-table shot at the end?

    • @balconyworkshop4185
      @balconyworkshop4185  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! For the last turn-table shot, I used a hand-made rotating table made of an old vinyl player and a stepper motor.

    Excellent job on the Electronics! Loved the whole build, keep up the good work! btw do you share the electronics casing files ?

    • @balconyworkshop4185

      Thank you! I don't share electronics casing files because other parts of the build are very specific. So those files wont fit other projects. But if you still need the files I can email them to you.

    That´s really interesting, those are 20x30 extrusion for what I can tell, did you have any compatibility issues with the original mellow inc motor mounts? Cause those look like the original motor an x bean mounts, also that's a different x beam than the one Mellow sells for the 235, did you based on some repository or something? Could you forward me to it in the case? I´m beginning to order the parts for my 235 and I love your build.

    • @vitaliihr410
      @vitaliihr410 6 месяцев назад

      This frame is a downscaled version of the vz330 frame, and uses 2020 and 2040 extrusions. It also uses the original vz330 motor mounts, so there are no compatibility issues. The X-axis beam is made from a 20x20 extrusion on a manual milling machine. But that's because I forgot to order it, and I didn't want to wait for delivery. Thank you!

    I love your pcb klicky mount! Did you do that? Or was that someone else project? I modified the tentacool, but putting it on the side seems better honestly

    • @balconyworkshop4185
      @balconyworkshop4185  4 месяца назад

      I made my version of the klicky pcb mount. I did't like that the magnets were very close to the table and interacted with the magnets in the table when the first layers were printed. So I had to cut the original klicky pcb to install it on the side.

    • @davschall
      @davschall 4 месяца назад

      @@balconyworkshop4185 I saw that! Thought you had redone the pcb too lol. I like your dock...do you have the cad up anywhere, or would be willing to share it? I've been scratching my head getting the klicky adapted on my hevort.

    How’s it so stable? What are you using for feet? My 330 shakes like crazy

    • @balconyworkshop4185
      @balconyworkshop4185  7 месяцев назад +3

      This printer has a size of 235, but it was built with a frame construction of 330. Also, it has additional aluminium profile details, which give rigidity of the structure. And the center of gravity shifted downwards.
      Feet was made of PETG plastic.
