i love this pattern. it’s easy and looks great! i made a pair for my nephew and i love how they turned out. tried 2 patterns for mittens before this but they were too complicated for me as a beginner. So glad i found yours, thank you!
I am not sure how I missed this tutorial do you know this is the BEST mittens on here!! well done great instruction easy to follow and the nicest I have ever made thank you Tracy
Thank you, the way you do your tutorials is great, you stop counting or talking to pause the video which gives us enough time to also pause our video & continue working without the constant chatter, you explain everything very well, I’m now on to my 4th set of mittens, I only wished I knew I could crochet 2 years ago when our first grandson was born. Thank you,😊
Thank you very much I learned a lot on the first mitten that by the time I got to the second one mine looked just like yours! I'm very proud of myself and you should be as well for such a detailed video (both uk and us names) as well as repeating yourself with zooming in, your the only one who made the whole magic circle thing make sense
Omg my 52 yrs., old cousin just gave birth to a baby boy!! At 50 yrs of age two yrs ago she had a little girl!! It’s a miracle!! Both babies are fine and healthy with no underlying defects! So blessed! , and so happy they’ve been the so happy to start another family to extend from the earlier twenty years ago siblings !!! She’s a real blessing to the family giving all of us a chance to nurture yet another infant from her!
Thank you for sharing this pattern. I’ve been trying for the longest while to follow some of the videos, with no success. With your clear instructions I completed a pair of mittens within minutes. Best video I’ve ever seen. I would love to see more of your patterns.
Hi, I just made it and I love it! it came out nice, I made it with 100g 100% polyester yarn, I just made 10 rows instead of 9 . Thank you to make it easy
Thank you so much, I struggled with the magic loop and I just couldn’t grasp the other patterns for babies gloves, after watching your video I can now do both, thanks again.
So thankful for you easy to understand tutorial I made the first mitten I will take a break and start on the next one the picky edging looks so fluffy for a little girl how perfect oh my other teacher Stephanie Zed secures the ribbon in the back with the same yarn just separates the yarn so it looks like a thread and finds the middle ribbon on back of baby mitten and. Stiches it a few times nice and secure thanks for enjoyable crocheting of baby mitten I have so far made 4 different mittens trying to learn by far this one is simple and looks great God Bless you Abundantly!
These are without a doubt the BEST baby mittens on RUclips. i have looked for some that are this good for a long time but all i find are ones that are not up to scratch (pardon the pun) You are a very clear teacher and these look very professional. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial
hi Tracy this is a lovely tutorial i love the colour and the texture of the mittens my sister is having a baby and so i will make her some of these and if you do any other baby items i will keep a look out
Hi Tracy, lovely mittens,I tried other tutorials, but always looked to big and bulky,I was able to make this ones in the tutorial you shared and they turned out so cute ,just loved them, thank you.!!!
Very nice. New crocheter here. Enjoyed visiting with you while I crocheted along. You explained everything very nicely. Will be a first time grandma in a few weeks
Congratulations I have two little angels now 🤟have fun learning. I did a beginners course one right handed and one left just in case you need it here is the link, there might be some videos still of use to you even if not the first basic ones ruclips.net/p/PLh-KEyY3rOQGfOjUAYWjeG033qvmv1tKF
Thank you, you made this so very easy, this was my first attempt to make baby mittens and they came out perfect, I love that you take time to explain step by step, east to follow (easy)
I just love the mittens started crochet for bady unit so just the job love how you do the magic ring I have tried all ways and yrs is the best thank you
Hi Mame thankyou for sharing this awesome nice little mitten,I'm so excited to have made it with you my first set of many mittens. P.S. I'm all the way from South Africa.
@@smartasspatriot445 Same! Also means we have then to go back too. I started out about 7months ago with the intention of keeping it all in one book...Now there's paper and patterns everywhere 🙈
Thanks again, so much. For the tie I left a length of yarn, threaded it through and then did six sc into the ends and joined. You finish one end when threaded and then the other after that (the reason you leave a length). It stops them unthreading. I do it on slippers I make.
I was a bit unclear in my comment. I left a length of yarn (enough to make 6 or so single crochet (US term)) and then made a slip knot to start chain. Chained for 50 (I did 60) and then did 6 sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, joined, cut yarn and weaved it in under the sts I made. I threaded the opposite end through the holes created for the tie and then finished off this end by doing the 6sc etc. You'll need to ch one with yarn left to start this. Hope this makes better sense 😊. Let me know if not.
Thank you. I'm not a beginner but it's been a little over a year. I just became a great grandma to a cute almost 9 lb. Baby boy! And .y grand daughter said when she was pregnant she hoped she'd get lots of cute crochet baby things lol because her mom and I make preemie jellyfish, and face and body scrubbies.,face soap with castile soap and essential oils, I do a lot of amigurumi, pet beds for shelter, preemie and newborn hats for hospital, afghans, I like to do slippers slipper boots. And baby blankets. But we're 2, and she might have high hopes so Im looking for a kinds. Shed not say but I know she is too. But everyone needs scratch mittens at least at some point and even store bought don't always work. These looked nice for either sex, and they look failsafe. Since I m just starting again easy for first few projects doesn't hurt. I agree you make the tutorial clear, easy to follow, and I don't have to go back to it after I start the project. You say things in same format not describing rows in different manners which makes it harder than it needs to be. So for further cute imaginative baby ideas I'm going to go through your playlists of videos. And I will share every one I watch, I won't keep the secret to myself. 🙂
Hi Tracy 👋 I don't know if you'll see this, bc you posted this video 2 yrs ago lol but thank you. The pattern is a bit different than mine, so it'll be a new one to go in my baby stuff folder lol Be well !🦋
I love, love these, thank you so much for sharing. My first grandbaby is due in August and I will definitely be making several of these for him. I also really like how you knot it on the inside before weaving in the tails, I have not seen that before. Thanks Tracy!
