A commercial I haven’t been able to find was an incredibly popular Diet Pepsi commercial that featured a teen boy and girl talking to each other about a party last night. It featured mostly extreme closeups (not even the full face) of each of them during the informal exchange and then cutaways to a closeup of a can of Diet Pepsi in her hand, his k-Swiss sneakers, etc. the conversation was a bit cryptic, him asking why she didn’t come to the party and will she be at the next one, or something like that. And it ended with him saying that so-and-so will be there at the party. And she says, “okay, but he’s why I didn’t show up last night.” Does that ring a bell?
A Pepsi commercial I want to find is one in the late 80's we had in the UK. I think it was a hockey theme, where one of the guys says "Benchanski" - any idea?
Yeah, soda is bad for you. A lot of fast food is bad for you and advertising is kids probably isn't a good idea but you At least have to admit that old commercials are fun, memorable and very creative even if you don't like or care about the products advertised.
Yep, the pepsi generation... the kids of the pepsi generation are dealing with type 2 diabetes mellitus they would never have developed if it wasn't for these soft drinks/fizzy pops/whatever they call it where you live.
Loved the Michael J Fox one.
Where's the one that went "Pepsi Pepsi Pepsi, oh it's so fun fun!"

@@retrobin1873 No worries. I know it was aired in 1989 or 1990, or maybe both.
Looks Sheila E. JALEEL White in the Pepsi ad with Lionel Richie!
