Thrashing My STI S207 Rental Car At Fuji Speedway: It's Faster Than My R34 GT-R

Thanks to Toprank for inviting me out to Fuji Speedway for their annual post-TAS trackday. The last two times, I was behind the wheel of my R34 GT-R. This time, I'm with a rare S207 that Toprank graciously let me borrow for my week in Japan. With the S207 being almost 20 years newer than the GT-R, it was a very different car on track.

Nobody is going to be triggered if they know anything about cars . 90’s sports cars are slow compared to today’s cars , even commuter cars nowadays are 300+hp for no reason

STIs are underrated. I say this because USA didnt get the EJ207, the engine that is supposed to be in the STI like Japan and most of Europe, its primarily used in rally & motorsport NOT the EJ257 you guys have in the USA. EJ207s have a 8250rpm redline from factory & twinscroll turbo and are WAY more reliable.

@@jkr19888US are junk at building EJs. Aussies have been building them since the 90s and EJs were known for reliability, not unreliability.

I can confirm this is the best of the best of subaru engines. I have an ej207 in my 04 wrx wagon. Been beating that thing for 13 years full bolt ons unopened block
