Believe it or not, but this series is the one I am most hyped for. Absolutely legendary
I know that having cool looking cars is impressive, but for me, having something that you can make memories with is so much better. The Probox might just be your bog standard utility vehicle, but you can do so much with it, and not only racing/drifting/showcar stuff. It's not always you can take your trackday toy to a roadside parking spot and simply chill with some food.
Everything about this is so MEGA. Full marks for creativity and purity. Not to mention that it reminds me of track days gone by that I intentionally took “underwhelming cars“ to… Thank you for this content!

Best video yet, well done. Those are killer tyres for the car and had to laugh at 'I'll let these guys go past". However, you probably had as much fun as all the others.
This is the type of motorsports I live for, vehicles that were never meant for track blasting around at full send.
Definitely keep the Probox content coming, I'd love to see a slow progression of a few reasonable mods to improve it on the track 👌

I had a 2002 toyota echo as my first car and seeing this made me miss the thing. It was small, struggled going up hills, so much body roll, and it had good millage.

Nice chill video, taking out the prosucc for a little track action, very cool. And the scene at the end was quite cool aswell, with the nice clear view of Mt Fuji. Lets see how good the Prosucc can get with some upgrades.

Honestly I find spiritedly driving everyday cars much more fun than track monsters. There is a certain esoteric quality to driving slow cars fast. Also it's quite funny when a tiny, bone-stock 1.2L rustbucket from the 90s can go head-to-head with more powerful modern cars. Hope you can get the most fun out of your Probox, Alexi!

I honestly think the Probox is my favorite car of yours. Would love to see it turned into a proper sleeper for grip driving with a few engine mods and some proper brakes and maybe suspension, or at least some anti roll bars.

Rented a Daihatsu Move in Yokohama the other day to go to Daikoku PA and was driving nervously in the city to get there when suddenly one of these Probox started flashing his lights behind me. Don't know what i did wrong but then he passed me only to get stuck at the next traffic light together.
3:54 Citroen C5 mk1 had such factory rims. Probably made by Michelin. I don't remember anymore.
It might just be me who have a strong affinity of seeing boring or cheap cars transformed into being fun on track, but I do kinda hope you might have some ideas or plans for the Probox? I've kinda had that hope since ya first showed it off.
But not really thinking something massive, maybe some rear discs... which would be the larger job, other than that, just some better suspension, just make it grippy and able to last longer without cooking the brakes. Don't even need any big engine mods really unless ya want to of course, but just being able to corner with it, and have brakes you can trust, would be a big change and probably make it fun even if not blasting down straights at high speeds. ^^
Either way though, it's still fun seeing ya take it out on tracks, so with another seat and some better brake pads as you mentioned, it'd be fun to see ya taking on other tracks as well!

great track car. you can drive it to the track and have fun with no problems, just change the tires and you're good to go. install better brakes and it'll be pretty much perfect.

You should install some data acquisition on the car first so you can compare future modifications from stock. Maybe start with a bigger rear view mirror ;-)
