Great video! Wish I could upgrade the ST to an RS, love these cars! Only thing I’d have loved to see was the owners reaction after a few pulls with the new tune…
I had a 2013 ST with upgraded pistons and rods with full Bolton's stock clutch with upgraded turbo on stock fuel running 93/e85 mix (e30) making 422whp with street drags and now I have an RS stock motor stock clutch stock cai with NX2 turbo, FMIC Catless DP, 3in exhaust stock fuel on E30 making 440whp. Only difference is AWD but if you can afford street drags every 3 to 4 months, I'm telling you, the ST is a beast especially with the closed deck block...Less of a headache to build imo and just as fun and fast if you run street drags year round...I'm in Miami so I can 😁
I have a good understanding of my RS and I’ve done all the modifications myself. Catless downpipe, wastegate, intake and lightweight clutch/lightweight wheels. I’m making 365 whp and 450ft/lbs on stock internals and stock turbo on a hub dyno. Do I have mine turned up too high? I’m seeing everyone else’s numbers with same mods and it seems like mine is making higher numbers with same mods?
The one thing to keep in mind is that dynos read differently. Our Mustang reads lower than a dynojet and a dynojet reads lower still than a hub dyno. So you can’t compare across different dynos.
@@logansheppard3066 Dyno's don't lie, unless the correction factors are fabricated. 365 is your engine output / NOT wheel output. So, yes - you are putting out that power with one hell of spike in torque 👍 If you were to Dyno on Alex's set-up, you would be close to 300whp (+/-5whp).
@@stratifiedauto hopefully the owner adds one. That's a bit scary being that big of a meth addict with no Narcan. Lol A simple EBCS interrupt would be an easy one for him to do with no additional calibration changes. Like the content!
Awesome. Nice to see a RS with those mods :)

Will try and get some of that for next ones.

Hell ya we like this content!
Glad I have 93 and e85 few blocks from my house...my stock RS block with NX2, cai with Bolton's on E30 runs solid. Miami FL Incase y'all wondering
It’s a good setup.
What does it make just on 93?

@@stratifiedauto so my hub dyno numbers are fairly spot on then?

What fail safe are you using?
No explicit fail safe on this build yet.

Nice pull and amazing gain with the meth!
Made a big difference. These motors fall off up top without high octane.
@@stratifiedauto How would a good set of cams help the high end?
What meth system was this car running? 50/50 for dyno testing?
Snow performance and it was 100% I’m this case. I recommend 50/50 mix
