But, the only thing that gives me hope is the truth, the stark horror and unadulterated evil being aired during these proceedings. Nations of the western world should well be ashamed of their own repeated inaction in relation to the plight of those now affected, for this is not the first time war crimes have been committed, if one is to accept the descriptions used in cited precedents by the court itself. This made me sob- I watch all of the videos being posted, but to put all of the suffering together in one speech, leaves me feeling so incredibly sad. The fact that the court could deliberate for weeks before making a decision, the fact that the USA and many more countries can vote against the court's decision leaves me with a very heavy heart. Thank you Irish Barrister, your words touched me deeply. I haven't watched any of it because I have to focus on earning a living, I pray the ICJ feels the pressure of the world on their shoulders, and makes a speedy ruling, despite the USA and the UK trying to fob this off as being meritless.
