Tajikistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia, surrounded by mountains and shares borders with Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and China.
Tajikistan is relatively young country, it had its independence from the USSR on 1991, unfortunately, a civil war started in the same year that lasted for 6 years.
5 days ago, I embarked on my journey to Tajikistan, had a roadtrip from Dushanbe to the seven lakes, to Artuch village, hiked up to Kali Kalun lake, continued our journey to Iskander Kul and back to Dushanbe covering 800km. Join me as we journey together to the heights of the Fann mountains and to the most beautiful lakes in Central Asia.
