The small fossil is from the species Gryphaea (aka Devil'sToenail). You can collect them in abundance at Hock Cliff higher up the Bristol Channel - a relatively safe place for families. I live in Kent and fish off almost featureless beaches without any views. I find the trick to be happy here is to fish almost at the edge of the sea, something shingle allows you to do. Hey matt , your not on your own with car trouble mate , i had to drive all the way back from brixham on sunday with no clutch lol. The slave cylinder popped , so today ive put a new clutch and all new hydraulics in her , much better , working on my own car whatever next lol .

Hiya paul , the access is still the same mate , hard going . We park at the farm as always and the walk up cardio hill , the other side of hinckley lilstock end is much easier you can drive right up to the old B power station and fish of the wall , but shurton end is hard to get to mate
