Hi peter, i dont normaly go for hounds mate time is never on my side , the only advice i can give you mate is find some deepish water 2 hours before low water smallish hooks on a pulley rig with crab , go on mate get the gear out theres a nice hound waiting for you , all the best and good luck
Hi colin , hope your both good mate , its hard work around our coast at the moment mate a lot of work going on in the sea all to do with hinckley point and sea defences to much noise

Just an update on my previous comments, bought a 13ft Fireblade, really nice rod, delivered yesterday used tonight, as you say casts really well and can only get better when used to it more, can’t comment on bite detection, as did not have any ! ! Ha Ha, local Easy Devon beaches not fishing too well lately, but time will tell on bite detection I hope soon Go Steady Derek
