What a incredible race… Japanese "little" team,Honda won at Monza,which is a very fast circuit. We Japanese must not forget the fact that there was a very hard effort before Ayrton Senna's achievement. 素晴らしいレースだ… 日本の"小さな"チームのホンダがモンツァという超高速サーキットで勝つとは。 我々日本人はアイルトン・セナの功績の以前にこの血の滲む努力があったことを忘れること勿れ。
Some of us Americans also haven't forgotten about Honda's outstanding efforts & success in the 1960s in a relatively short amount of time. Honda most certainly would have been a top 3 team in the 1970s and perhaps the Indianapolis 500 then too - but understandably after Jo Schlesser's fatal accident at Rouen in 1968 - they withdrew from F1 to reduce any bad publicity from that unfortunate event. My favorite Honda F1 moments: 1) this race was not only another win for Honda, but team Honda helped John Surtees get his revenge on Enzo by winning on Ferrari's home ground - Monza. Especially after how Ferrari treated him in 1966. 2) the 1988 season. A dominant performance by such a magnificent engine that perhaps will never be repeated again.
