- We don't want to look older than what we are. What are some things that we do or not do that make us appear older - that we have control over? I asked several people this question. This is their list and some of mine.

After losing my hair due to chemo and the fact that most 64 y.o.s don't have blonde hair! I embrace my glittery hair with a sassy cut and confidence!

I am part Lebanese, and have been trying to remove facial hair, since I was 12. Laser could not even touch it. You are so right, on all points.
The 80's and the eyebrows, YES! LOL! That was totally me (along with the asymmetrical haircut 'to the max') 🤣

I love your channel!! I do have to say I’m 46, soon to be 47 and my eyebrows did not stop growing! Lol they have been thick since I was a kid (loving nickname as a kid was Bert.. ;) I still wax, pluck and these things grow like weeds 🤣 I agree with all your points. Gotta grow older gracefully!! I’m working on the few extra pounds .. wish me luck 😉
i just found your channel from a comment on another creator's video on natural make up. i am at that phase where i am having to learn new techniques as you mention here. i am 49, but often mistaken for mid 30s. i had oily skin most of my life and it kept my wrinkles at bay for this long. however, now i am dryer and i am getting quite a few lines above and below my eye lids. darker liner on the bottom makes my eyes completely disappear. i've tried using concealer below my eyes because all the "gurus" do and talk about how much brighter it makes your eyes look. i have NO dark spots under my eyes and the concealers literally accentuated every single line and magnified them. stopped wearing it. i am still able to get away with a "done up" look if i want, but i smudge a lighter shadow under my eyes now. the eyebrows are disappearing too and what's still there is turning blond and gray, so yea, they get filled in - naturally. i am beginning to get a little more gray hair and its starting to bother me. my mom turned gray in her 20s, but my dad has a lot of native american blood. i don't favor that side, but i guess it kept my hair from going gray early. looking forward to watching more videos. thanks.
Isn’t it fun growing older? 😕 you hit the nail on the head as to why I started this channel. What used to work doesn’t work so I went scrambling and was very frustrated. I have learned so much so I love to share what I have learned. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
One third of my eyebrows fell out due to thyroid problems. I basically have to draw them on. I’m hoping they grow back.
I did those Brook Shields bushy eyebrows too in the 80’s!!!

I agree with everything you have said. I do need to lose weight and I am in the beginning process. My excess weight does make me move slower and I do feel older. I believe how we feel about ourselves reflects in our outward appearance.

+booklover620 I use Crest white strips for sensitive teeth. I get it on Amazon. I’ll try to find the link and put it in a follow up comment. I also will use a whitening pen that I get at our Dollar Store. I use that a few times a week.
No gray hair!!!!! Ever!!!! 😊
Candi Cane - Right. No gravestone gray for me, either. Raquel Welch looks great, Jamie Lee Curtis looks aged and washed-out to me. I notice Nancy Pelosi isn't embracing her gray, either.
