- This is a behind the scenes diary of us building an app product to make money with it. I’m hoping to document all the roadblocks, decisions and lessons learned along the way so here’s the first vlog entry dated September 14th, 2023.
👋 Our "Launch Your First App" program will help you build up your iOS skills to publish your very own feature rich app even if you’re a beginner starting from scratch. cwc.to/youtube...
It’s unscripted and raw so I apologize if it’s a bit rambly and not up to our usual production standards but it reflects my real unfiltered thoughts and experiences.
I hope you find some value in watching this!

Love it. The fact that it's raw and unfiltered is part of what makes this interesting. Can't wait to see the next episodes of this series!!
Thanks for watching! - Iñaki
Chris, I first came to programming 4 years ago.
I started with Swift and you were the first person who taught me who to code.
I've switched to Flutter 2 years ago, I've made more than 20-30 commercial projects since then.
But still sometimes I open your youtube when facing some issues, despite the fact that I already program in another language.
You are the best programming teacher on RUclips I've ever met. You've made learning like a game.
If I had another teacher I don't think I would continue coding.
Thank you so much for all that you've done, I wish you the best.
Chris,
I recently quit my job in pursuit of a healthier life, physically and mentally. One aspect of that healthier life is to learn skills I've always wanted to learn (piano and app development). Thank you for posting these videos, they have helped me immensely and have given me the confidence that app development is actually possible with someone with literally zero coding experience. Keep inspiring my friend!
This is a really great video- thank you Chris for sharing it. I think the "raw" version doesn't feel too rough at all, because you have a clear vision and the same calm upbeat delivery as you have in your courses. Your enthusiasm and competence just shines through and it is very easy to follow and also inspiring. I am looking forward to following you on your journey! I am building my first App with CWC+ as a hobby, in a totally different field (education). I realised today that I might want to break it down into little subparts to launch !
Thanks for watching! I'll be sure to let Chris know :) - Iñaki
Was literally just thinking about a water tracker as being a first app for me to get into iOS and thought it was dumb because it’s been done before. Seeing your process and knowing that there are no bad ideas is really encouraging and makes me excited to dive into it 😊
Glad you chose to share it

Thanks for taking the time to comment! - Iñaki
exactly what i needed! thanks for the work and uncut
new here, got recommended. actually don't mind the unscripted and raw. it is very geniune and gives more reality of the behind the scenes. I'm more of a video editor and not an app creator so decide it is a lot of work from both sides.
Verry helpful overview, thank you for sharing this! i'll have a look more as I notice you have more videos. Please bare with me, as I am literally new viewer. Just thought to myself and out loud as I am watching simultaneously, if you have a simple and visual start to finish example of this whole process, that would really put things into perspective on how easy/difficult of the process, etc. Hopefully it is somewhere or something you already thought of doing soon as I just saw the video released very recently.
Much appreciated as it is Vlog1. Thank you!
