Vintage JUSTRITE Carbide Lamp (cleanup)

Hello friends. This is just a clean up of my Just-Right carbide lamp. I couldn’t disassemble it completely. The parts were too tight and didn’t want to damage it.
It turned out just the way I wanted it and it works.

We have one of these in near mint condition. My wife's people were Welsh NE Penn. coal mining people.

That’s very interesting. Thank you for sharing. I have used these carbide lamps, few times in the past and every time that I used it, it took me back into an imaginary past. With the current technology, I can’t believe they used to use these in the past. Restoring old tools is really fun. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching my video.
