You do know you can purchase lights that are powered by the bikes wheels rotating,powered light by you peddling and the wheels in motion create a generator?these can be purchased at any Walmart or bike store!
I have a question do you know what year this auto lite carbide lamp was made I have one and it looks just like the one you have here would you happen to know what year the auto lite carbide lamps where made.
Shay Ferguson Have you tried a clean felt? The tip where the flame is may need to be cleaned. Be very careful to use a wire smaller than the hole. A needle is too big. If you enlarge the hole it will be ruined.
I have the same one had it for probably 20 years and never lit it. I think i might get mine going now thanks for the vid
