I gotta say, leveling as sub may not be technically faster than combat, but it’s the spec I’d use. Your burst is insane… ambush, hemo, evis and the target is dead. 2 sec stealth CD, you literally feel like Batman coming in and out of the shadows so quickly and fiercely. Plus shadowstep is soo fun. You literally move faster in stealth than not. It’s the most fun until 85.

Yeah I just leveled as sub and 13-40 mobs basically get one shot, no need for survivability because they rarely have time to even hit you, watching these clips I feel like 2 mobs would be dead in 6 seconds as opposed to a 12 second blade fury

Yeah tried combat and aye it's good for aoe and thus best for dungeons, but dungeons can be a bit of a coin flip going in alone what group you get and how efficient it really is, think I go sub and quest my way to 85 and rp I'm batman/playing arena (and playing arena as subtetly is why I am here anyway :D)

well you can use ambush with a sword and it does significantly more dmg than a dagger, so ambush is also good as combat

It's cata already and people STILL think that combat is best spec for leveling. *Sigh*. Just try subtlety once and you will never get back to your precious blade fury ever. Not only subtlety way more efficient in chain-killing mobs but it also helps alot in occasional pvp.
