Maybe cause I don’t eat it much growing up I never had any negativity towards it. Anything cheese based is a winner unless you are just the dumbest person ever.

An underrated dip i often make is: a tin of sardines (without the oil), greek yogurt, a bit of mayo and mustard, one or two shallots and fresh herbs.
Some people are put off by the idea of sardines but it really mellows with the yogurt and is incredible!

love to see a new chef frank video! I've never heard of cooking canned chickpeas abit more for hummus, though i have tried the internet shaquille technique of removing all of the hulls (which really does make a difference). I will give it a shot, homemade hummus is so easy that a small step like that won't be a hassle

Pro tip: You can use the whole can contents of the chickpeas including most of the aquafava (liquid - adjusting for the consistency you want), along with a small garlic clove and the lemon all in a food processor and you have an instant dip.

what I've noticed with my hummus is that pouring the chickpea water first and seasoning that first, mixing it in, and then adding the chickpeas makes the flavors mix in better. Maybe it's just something I've made myself believe but when I make it this way it tastes a lot better
