Sherry, you are such an inspiration! I have tried making double sided sheets with spray adhesive and my Xyron, as well as the other methods you mentioned (plastic wrap, freezer paper, etc.). I have had zero to negative-zero luck with any of them. Tonight, you solved *WHY*! I have always tried to place down the entire sheet to the entire other sheet. I ended up with creased, uneven and unmatched messes. Your use of the non-stick sheets to control all but a small section of adhesive at a time is inspired! I'm anxious to try this as I luckily was able to find lots of gorgeous tissue paper during my foray into Dollar Tree, post Black Friday. Thank you so much for perfecting the answers to these annoying crafting problems for us! 💙
I remember my mum showing me how to do this An easy method for getting smoother results is to stick the top of the tissue down, slowly roll down the backing sheet behind whilst using your spatula to follow down with the tissue. Thanks for the memories 😊
Thank you for this! I love double sided paper but it is so expensive. Some times only use one side because I do not like the print on the other side. 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Wonderful idea. Could you just cover the entire piece of 12x12 using the same method and some of another piece of the double side sticky? Thank you for all your wonderful ideas. Love you and may God bless you.
This is great for those projects that require a little bit of decoration on both sides. I have some projects that requires 6 x 8 paper that I would like to be double-sided , this is perfect for that.💙💙💙
You inspire me to be a better crafter. You are a beautiful sprit. I've been watching you for years and I am never disappointed. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Oh my goodness! Finally something I already know how to do LoL I don't make double sided paper but a couple or 3 years ago when I started making your projects, I couldn't get out much, so i waa always commenting about how much I loved being able to make actual projects from stuff around my house ( such as cereal boxes when I couldn't buy chipboard) and I couldn't buy decorative for the projects so i glued some leftover tissue to dollar tree printer paper. Single sided tho. And I am doing the gift box expansion. I wish you had a place for your followers to post pictures of their renditions. Or do you? I'm just saying I can't post any on RUclips
What an awesome process video. I've never had good luck with the spray glue. I'll be using your example when I make my next paper napkin project. BTW, your channel was the first paper crafting video I watched years ago. I'm always learning something new from your videos. Thank you for sharing.
I just did something that I would've needed that backing. Oh well, next time. I bought the exact same pad of paper as you and love it. Thank you for the paper idea tho, Sherry!
Game changer!! I have that exact pad and was having the same issue with the single sided print. Now I can make it double sided!! Woo Hoo!! Thank you! 💙💙💙
Miss Sherry. Let me be the first to tell you how wonderful this video is. I cannot thank you more for this time the tutorial. You and I seem to vibe in the same grove often, because creating my VERY own paper is my next jam to BOX making and I cannot wait to see what you create with them! 🍃
