@Jeiponda Elevens, In my place, they mostly bloom well in Winter. In Summer also they bloom but not well due to high temp. Air temperatures between 50°F and 77°F (10 - 25°C) is ideal but they can survive even if the temp is ~ 95°F (35°C and it's the average summer temp in my place). Thank you for watching the video :-)

Hi @Bhavana Soni, glad to know I uploaded the video at the right time :-) We can grow it any season (Winter + Summer) and this is the best time to grow it. Bhai can you tell me from which company should I use NPK 19 19 19 Or any better. I purchased from local market they are just useless. Can you provide the link
@Subrata Saha, nice to see you after many days :-) The one which I mostly use is the SHRIRAM POSHAK. I bought it from nursery. I often go to nurseries to buy plants and along with plants, I also buy the other required things. I think, it's not available online :-( You can try buying it from some reputed store (look for imported NPK) or online. To make it easier, I am going to review few products from Amazon and would share the results. This way, it would be easier for other people to buy the products that work. Plz let me know if you have any questions and hope your plants are doing great :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat thanks.. Yes it would be better if you share the results with us. And yes my plants are doing great after sowing my seeds in cocopeat and vermicompost and no pest attack until now but they are very slow growing. I sowed calendula dahlia and marigold but they all have only leaf after the first leaf. They look like hanged for many days. Can you provide me a way to grow them faster. P. S. I am giving them morning sun and water enough
@@budgetgardening474 , Good to know your seedling are doing great. To grow them faster, you can use NPK 19-19--19. You can use mix 2 grams (1/2 teaspoon) in 1 liter of water and spray the seedlings. This is one thing that I do when I see seedlings are not growing fast. But, in most cased, I don't need to do that. I had to do it recently with my Cypress vine seedlings as they were not growing fast. Morning sun is just perfect n just be careful while watering. Anyway, I have videos (already recorded) about growing Calendula & Marigold from seeds and if you want, I would keep them first in the list of my next uploading videos. >> And can you provide the link you used for your gardening.. I have added some product to cart in amazon(mkp and npk) just waiting for your review Soon I would be uploading one video about the tools I use. And, for the Fertilizer, I mostly buy locally and I would test few fertilizers which are available online (as I promised you in my previous reply). I would see how they work and ONLY if I see good result, definitely I would let you know. But till then, plz feel free to ask me about any products you are thinking to buy and I would try my best to give you the best decision. Thank you n looking forward :-)
@Parveen Fatima, I bought them from Nursery in my place but they are available online too. I have tried the seller "Urban Garden" from Amazon and bought many bulbs from them and most of them were good enough. Perhaps, you can try the same seller or some other as well. Can we grow it in summer?
We can but won't bloom like winter if temp is high..There are many lilies that can be grown in Summer. I already have a video about it.
I planted bulbs but even after 20 days, they did not sprout. What might be the reason. Pls suggest
@anu radha, Could be because of over-watering...please dig up the soil a bit and see if the bulbs are still there...if they are okay n not rotten, no need to worry and they would sprout. But, please again, be careful while watering :-)
Have u tried growing orchids... actually I love orchids a lot... but I don’t know how to maintain... please upload a video if u know...
@ramya jegannathan, Yes I have :-) but it was few years back and right now I don't have Orchid which I should have actually. From last few months I have been thinking to grow it and every time I forget to buy it. But when I would go to nursery next, definitely I would buy it and upload a video. The most important thing is to prepare a good potting soil mix and provide it required light. Anyway, I would do it ASAP!
Sure thank you... nice speaking to u... waiting for your videos...
@ramya jegannathan, it was nice to speak with you too, have a great time and definitely I would try to do it asap! Thank you!
How frequently shud we fertilse
Bro are u from Assam ??
In which month gladiolus should be planted
End of August - Sept, thank you!
Will they bloom only in summer ??
Or winters also??
Please reply
@Jeiponda Elevens, In my place, they mostly bloom well in Winter. In Summer also they bloom but not well due to high temp. Air temperatures between 50°F and 77°F (10 - 25°C) is ideal but they can survive even if the temp is ~ 95°F (35°C and it's the average summer temp in my place). Thank you for watching the video :-)
My nurseryman has asked me to cover just the base of the bulbs...
awesome video. what a coincidence... i wanted to plant gladiolus... ordered the bulbs but didn't do it.. coz i didn't know the right way. now i can grow it.
in which season can i grow gladiolus.??
from where did you buy the bulbs ??
Hi @Bhavana Soni, glad to know I uploaded the video at the right time :-) We can grow it any season (Winter + Summer) and this is the best time to grow it. I bought it from Nursery as it's readily available.
In Summer, when the temperature goes really up, the blooms don't last like Winter. In my place this year highest temperature was 39°C but it managed to bloom :-) Need to provide less amount of direct sunlight in Summer.
To get the blooms in Summer, you don't have to plant the bulbs again. I mentioned the tip at 8:43 :-) Plz let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to answer it. Thank you very much for watching the video :-)
when you planted these corms and from where you purchased it ?
@leena agravat, Thank you for your question. We can grow it any season (Winter + Summer) and this is the best time to grow it. I bought it from Nursery as it's readily available. Plus it's very cheap, only Rs. 5 for one bulb.

@@GardeningUpbeat Are they selling it online
@@GardeningUpbeat I've bought 1 corm at ₹15! 😭
Anyway, I've kept it inside the sand and waiting for sprouting. When it'll germinate, I'll follow the steps suggested by you. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Are gladious flowers fragrant?
No
Hai,I am miza,thanks
And can you provide the link you used for your gardening.. I have added some product to cart in amazon(mkp and npk) just waiting for your review
I sow my seeds on 25 October

Soon I would be uploading one video about the tools I use.
Can you please give link for buying such kind of bulbs
@Parveen Fatima, I bought them from Nursery in my place but they are available online too. I have tried the seller "Urban Garden" from Amazon and bought many bulbs from them and most of them were good enough. Perhaps, you can try the same seller or some other as well. Plus, products from SeedsnPots are good too..
@@GardeningUpbeat hello sir, do you know the contact details of urban gardens? I bought some rain Lily bulbs from Amazon from them. I found them good.
Which is the best month to plant Gladiolus bulbs?
Right now...Means, Sept-Oct, all the best!
