Thank you for the info. I didn't know ram mount makes extended arms like that. I have seen people use a TV mount which is clever, but not ideal since does not give you a full motion. @@siren17
What you think of the B&G v7 in comparison to garmin or even simrad. Vulcan 7 has been around for I believe 8 years now, which in eleteonics can be measured in dog years. Do you think it's still good investment or better spend a little more ?

@@4xDiscovery And the RAM stuff is really solid and built for the outdoors. All parts are cast aluminum, no rust.
@siren17 I have used them on my dual sport for many years, and you are right they never rust or I ever had any problems with them.
