Nike Phantom GX 2 Elite Review - Best Phantom Ever?!

These are my thoughts and opinion on the new Nike Phantom GX 2 Elite. These boots are amazing, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a modern soccer boot with up-to-date technology and comfort. I agree with you man! I got the white black and gold colorway and I’ve had the first few phantoms but the gx2 is my favourite by far

GX1 was too grippy for my liking. I thought it would’ve been more like the OG Phantom Nike skin w that waxy grip. Is the GX2 just as grippy? Thanks

In my opinion the Gx 2 is not as grippy as the Gx 1. you definitely do get some grip specially with the 3d texturing but I feel like they were able to refine the gripknit to not be as grippy specially on AG. The Gx2 is definitely a step up from the Gx 1. They're definitely worth the try.

Should i get them same size as my normal shoes if i got wide feet?

I would say yes. For the best possible fit I would go true to size. These have plenty of width to them so you'll be fine with your regular size 👌

In my opinion I would say yes. Just because I prioritize comfort over anything in a football boot and the Gx 2 is extremely comfortable + the extra grip from the gripknit, it's a win win.

I think the answer really depends on your foot shape. If you have more of a skinnier/narrow foot I would say the Mercurial if you have a wider/thicker foot the Gx forsure. If I had to pick one I would pick the GX 2 AG because of the comfort and the extra grip from the gripknit.

If you had to buy one I honestly would say Gx 2. The comfort they provide is just that good. You almost dont feel them on your feet.

How much space is in the toe box? I was wearing the tiempos but they are narrow in the toe box

@machaazahisagama3575 There is definitely enough space in the toe box for most foot shapes. The tiempos are definitely more on the narrow side but the GX 2 has enough space throughout the whole boot.
